Hand surgeon

I have recently hand carpal and cubital tunnel surgery, I chose Anna Moon for my surgeon, she is fantastic. She was very professional, understanding, listened, talked through options and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. It was nice to have a friendly smiley face as I was very anxious about the surgery. All is going well so far and the experience from beginning to end has been amazing with every member of the hand clinic team who have been involved. It has been a pleasure to deal with everyone on this team from booking appointments to the day of the op. Big Thankyou to Mrs Moon and the Hand Clinic team and all the staff at Droitwich Spa Hospital who looked after me on the day.

Professor Miranda was very easy to talk to and attentive, he really put us at ease. The surgery went very well and the results are amazing. I would highly recommend Professor Miranda and would not hesitate to use him again.

Been and had a operation today and can't thank the nurses and doctors everyone was lovely made me feel relaxed and let me know everything what was happening I would definitely recommend this hospital.the rooms were lovely they couldn't do enough for me

Mr Hayton is the best: a construct that has many dimensions which I will now explain. Firstly he treats every patient with courtesy and patience irrespective of whether they are eminent sports people or ordinary folk e.g. myself, an enthusiastic but ageing amateur Ballroom and Latin American dancer. He really listens and provides a number of solutions because he is so very skilled and knowledgeable. Certainly, whenever I have mentioned his name within other NHS or private settings eg. Hand therapists, even in a location 200 miles from Manchester, his name is instantly recognised and the reports are so favourable: skilled; personable; responsive; respected; always up on the latest developments.When I began to consider solutions for the pain in my right hand ( I had a fracture successfully fused in my left hand six years ago) I knew that Mr Hayton was worth travelling the distance for (I’ve relocated 150 miles from Manchester). and I was not disappointed . He puts one instantly at ease and outlines the cost/benefits in very clear succinct terms. Prior to the meeting he viewed my personally owned scans and responded within 24 hours- that level of responsiveness is so impressive given his other commitments.So, in summary, I am happy to report that I will not even consider another hand surgeon even if it were free because health requires more than skill and knowledge. Mr Hayton takes the risk out of decision making through competence and his exceptional interpersonal manner.

Mr Sharma is a very knowledgeable doctor who truly helped me to solve my issue. I was experiencing a constant pain in my left index finger and I saw another specialist before him who didn't even get close to the right diagnosis/ treatment, despite several checks. I went to Mr Sharma to have a second opinion and he immediately understood what my issue was and recommended the right treatment. I have been pain free ever since. I definitely recommend him.

Ewan Bigsby did a great job and the staff at Nuffield were excellent. My shoulder is so much improved now. Thanks to all

Mr Bantick's world-class expertise essentially saved my career.If it weren't for his intervention my RSI would have prevented me from typing - something of a problem for a software engineer - I thus have a great deal to be grateful to him for. He was patient, careful and conservative, only resorting to surgical intervention after all other avenues had been thoroughly explored.I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone with problems with their wrists/hands.

I only have praise for MrSharma. He made what was potentially a stressful experience into, believe it or not, an enjoyable one! He talked me through all the options and explained everything to me at every stage. When I was admitted as a day patient for surgery on my hand, he checked on me before the procedure, talked me through it as he carried it out, and checked on me again afterwards. He and the team at Parkside were excellent.

Unprofessional, unsympathetic and extremely rude. Mr Bantick was unable to provide a diagnosis for the issues I was experiencing with my finger and had the audacity to blame my mental state! His patient care and attentiveness are dismal to say the least.I’ve been treated through the NHS previously for knee surgery ( torn ACL/ meniscus) and the service received was highly impressive. Unfortunately not on this occasion. If you are private paying, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

I had a Macs lift done in 2020 and then they re done it in 2022. I must say the staff were fabulous but it was a total waste of money. Please do not get this procedure done- it looks decent for around 2-3 months but the final results are extremely underwhelming and obviously it is something that should not be offered. I am left thousands of pounds out of pocket and the only thing that I have prove that I have it done is the horrible scarring that I have! Thank you Allan.
