Welsh restaurant

Excellent cafe.Staff are very efficient and friendly.Wonderfully portions. Tea and coffee excellent and refreshing.What a veiw.

Welsh food on my Wales visit! Like any tourist I was in search of a nice place to eat some local traditional food and I came across the Welsh House Cardiff. Immediately my waitress greeted me with a smile! She recommended me a Welsh beer named Shipwreck, the Welsh pot of pig appetizer and the Welsh lamb Cawl soup with sourdough bread and cheddar cheese. I loved the combination of all flavors! The Welsh house was directly in the center, great cozy environment, tasty food, and the service was the best! I fully recommend it to any tourist visiting Cardiff!

Lovely little shop by the bay. Has 3 vegan options (original, chocolate orange and cherry coconut) when we visited. They tasted great and staff were friendly and helpful.

Great meal out with my WI, several of us had not been before but will certainly go again, in fact my husband and I are taking two friends for their wedding anniversary soon

What an amazing experience. We had the 10 course, menu. This took from 6.45 to around 10.00, felt a little rushed towards the end. Each course was exquisite in both flavour, content and presentation. Each course individually presented to each table. There were pre starters, starters, fish, main a cheese course and dessert courses. The restaurant has seating for 20 which was cosy and you had enough space from the other tables. The serving on staff had to be exceptional knowledgeable about each dish, and were. This is an occasion meal and can easily recommend this to others. I would certainly try and book if I was coming back to caernarfon in the future.

Staff and venue really lovely. Staff cannot do enough for you and the dinning area has many seating options.Sadly, the food is just ok and feels a big basic. Seasoning is barely used but that could be a considered decision to allow people to season to taste themselves.This place is what I'd guess to be a flagship place in Betws y Coed and has great facilities, if the food was elevated it could be packed out every night. We are there 3 times in the week we were there but more due to necessity than on previous experience. I'd still come back of course

Such a good stop on the way home from West.We had the chicken carbonara, and a Mediterranean veg, halloumi baguette which were both delicious. A good few veggie options, and caters well for kids, also dog friendly.Diolch

Came here for dinner as a walk in and were able to get a table - the outside tables are reserved for walk ins (all indoor tables were fully booked). The staff were super friendly and you were made to feel relaxed with no time hassle. the food was excellent - a big choice of different fish dishes with generous portions, especially the seafood platter. They were able to adapt some of them to be gluten free - always a bonus for us.

This is a restaurant that lives up to its reputation! We had the special Cawl made with lamb which came with a side of garlic bread. Was delicious. The Welsh Rarebit is also worth trying.The staff was also patient and friendly. Its not very big inside with some seats in the arcade.
