Very minimalistic school, but has everything what is needed to study

A fantastic school! The children are full to the brim with a love of learning and are being extremely well equipped for life ahead through hard working and wonderful teachers. The teaching is really strong, balanced and broad ranging from Cuneform to ICT.

I couldn’t be happier for my child to experience early years at The Mulberry Tree Steiner Kindergarten and I know it will be invaluable later down the line. Warm, caring and patient are just some of the words I would use to describe the incredible team supporting the children and always putting the needs of the children first. I, as a parent also learn so much from the MT community and feel so supported and their love, commitment and compassion goes a long way and I am sure others would agree over the past 20yrs they go way above and beyond. Such a special place.

We received such a warm welcome at this place during our summer residential. The school teachers we met were so caring, and involved in our process. The conversations were much more broad spanning than the topics they were teaching. Very insightful people. Can't wait to go back. :)

OFSTED Recent report states that the management and leadership of this school is unfit and that It doesn’t safeguard pupils’ welfare, health and safety and the school doesn’t comply with the Independent School Standards. We had to deal with this school before the OFSTED report was released and I can state that this is the most shambolic, inconsistent and unprofessional organisation I have come across

Don't look further, Mulberry tree Steiner early years, is the setting to put your little ones (2 to 6 years). It's holistic approach based on Rudolf Steiner's philosophy offers a well balanced, nurturing and caring, environment following the child's rhythm. Giving them the possibility to explore their full potential, with activities to open their minds. My daughters love the free plays, gardening and exploring outdoors, painting and drawing, craft and story telling, preparing the vegetables and fruits, and making bread and apple biscuits, helping others. Every day is a beautiful fulfilling day at Mulberry tree, and i can see all its benefits at home. Wonderful experience for a mother of two. Thank you for offering so much to my daughters.

A wonderful school that allows children to be children, develops their potential and encourages individuality and self-confidence. Children receive a good, broad education and both the curriculum and timetabling are structured around the developmental needs of the age group. The ethos of the school is about Community - nurturing, sharing, respecting and caring for everyone regardless of age, ability, social background, creed or colour. We got our daughter back when she joined Elmfield; she has grown into the most wonderful young woman over the years and she dreads the day when she will have to leave. Our son loves Elmfield for very different reasons to his big sister! The Steiner system is perhaps not for everyone, but I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone willing to take the leap of faith into a gentle, holistic and innovative approach to education. You won't regret it!

This school offers a wonderful learning experience and I would highly recommend it. My two children are very happy there.
