Volleyball club

We went to play volleyball today. We payed £4 per person. We were 35+ people and couldn’t play proper games. There was a lady there trying to organise and give instructions how to play. It was not clear what was the program and if you would play games. From 1.30 hours we spend 1.05 hours to do some basics like running, jumping for blocks, etc. I think it’s not good for adults. It’s not worth it as every time you need to pay £4 and you don’t know if you will play or not. Also, they don’t have a plan for e.g. if you ask to join a team it’s not clear how to do it.

I almost joined the first year of the club but sadly I could not due to other engagement - having experienced the club for the past few years I wish I could have start back then! Onyx is great for volleyball and for socializing: the teams have given me pleanty of opportunities to finally build social connection in London. When I had an injury and I had to stop playing I still felt part of the team and club and get plenty of support, the team is much more than just sport agonism and i really love that! Also great volleyball level and coaching quality, obviously!

Great place to visit

Best volleyball club in South East England.

The court was fine. The downside is that we had to set the net ourselves and that'll consume a lot of our time. Aside from that, the ceiling is also a bit low. Due to that, we lost a couple of our balls stuck on the ceiling.

Simply amazing, a great mix of fun and top notch coaching quality for players of any level.

I've just joined one of the Little Giants tournament. Amazing venue, friendly faces and very well organised. Everything was on time and no messing around. If you want to play volleyboll and have fun at the same time, you should go and try. I can't recommend enough.
