Delicious and authentic Venezuelan food in the heart of Crystal Palace!My favourite is the beef arepas with plantain, beans and cheese. My son couldn't get enough of the mini cheese arepas, and my daughter ordered the chicken arepas twice (one for main and one for dessert!). I also tried the chicken and rice dish which was very tasty.Wash it down with a cold chicha, or a soursop if you're feelin' fruity!Puddings are also great - especially the 3 milk cake. Yum, yum, yum.

Authentic Venezuelan arapes and patacon. Really delicious, freshly made as you order. Very friendly staff.. we tried (together with family) many many times. Highly recommended.. all 5 stars from us.

The staff are awesome,the food is wonderful. I am glad I had the first and best tacos here. If you are reading this review wondering whether you should go,just go mate its worth it.

Most welcoming chef, cooks everything fresh so takes a little longer but definitely worth it. We had a sharing platter between 2 people. Highly recommend this place

nowhere near an arepa, i had many arepa in my life and this just is not anywhere near where it should be, the quantity is for baby, is flavouless, and by large over priced for what you get, i was not impressed that who prepared it was indian, when arepa come from no where near india, autenticity is just not there

Incredible home cooked, authentic food in such a friendly and welcoming place. Exceptional value. The owner was brilliant in explaining the menu and the importance of authentic Latin American ingredients and it was totally justified in the food! Can’t wait to go back!

I don't really know how much more I can rave about Papelon. Honestly their food is ridiculously good.I have gone back 5 times now in as many months and it is as good every single time. I took my girlfriend this time to show her what I had been talking about so much and she was very impressed. The 4th time I went I illegally parked and ran to get it, IT IS THAT GOOD.The two owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, so kind and genuine, as well as passionate about their food. They deserve all the success with what they have built. Cannot wait to come back again.

Really delicious food - we had the cheese blanket and the hallumi avocado. Both great! Their salsa is fantastic

Arepa’s were decent, only had two slices of plantains, a little pricey for the amount of filling. Service was friendly. We walked in without a booking, but bookingsseem to be preferred.
