I have been admitted into Accident and Emergency overnight quite a few times, and the nurses have all been so kind to me. They are all so friendly and happy, and I always have a good experience with the nurses.

Lovely, amazing, helpful staff. Helped me feel at ease, although, at self check in, my appointment didn’t come up and was told to go to the front desk from the screen, I went to the front desk and noise was present. You feel a pain having to ask staff who work there, but are off duty, for help as their breaks are much needed, but non the less one lady was very helpful. Stop making cutbacks on reception staff, they’re needed! Thank you to the staff at radiology ❤️

Waits are beyond 6 hours, when there is 1 doctor to over a 100 patients, was bought in by ambulance for suspected spinal injuries amd ribs, only then to be left in A n E for over 6 hours, you get seen on the seriousness of you're injuries or problems. And all I saw was people walking freely to be seen way before me, lots of drunkards, addicts just walking where they wanted to, without any security telling them not to, harassing patients which I also observed. Again security no where to be seen, have more interest moving people on for smoking 5 meters from the entrance. And when you're eventually seen, your like what in the hell is going on its empty. No patients, so goes down for xray, and overheard an nurse stating a covid positive patient was on the ward, and she said and I quote I have a 11 year old granddaughter and I'm not taking any chances" and then proceeded to hand masks out to colleagues

Emma Cornell and Suzie Manning went above and beyond when taking care of me today. They were patient, understanding, kind and very helpful. The level of care and professionalism was remarkable. Thank you ladies.

We came in last night at 4:30 am because my husband had dislocated his shoulder in his sleep. We were beyond impressed by the level of service and care we were provided. We were seen and was out within an hour ( this is unheard of in my previous experiences) so we were very grateful as we both had work in couple of hours after this. The dr on shift (we didn’t catch his name) had the most caring, calm and professional attitude towards us and managed to put my husbands shoulders back in place with such ease and care. Really a huge thank you and well done because I myself work in a similar field and was just so proud and blown away with your support. Also the team of nurses on site and the two lovely receptionist ladies were super friendly and reassuring. I hope they get the recognition they truely deserve. Thank you all.

I can see how people had bad experiences but personally. 9 out of 10 nurses have ne nothing but brilliant with ne. The surgeons are 1st class aswell. Only think I will say is the pharmacy takes way too long sending prescriptions to the ward. I been waiting up to 8 hours at times

Am currently sleeping on the floor on top of my coat inside the a&e ward as there are no beds in the hospital but they want me to stay in. Bleak. Also the staff here are devoid of any soul and warmth. Lovely modern and well-equipped building so there is obviously lots of money here. But the staff are awful and cold.EDIT: Once I got to the inpatient ward everything was amazing! But a&e staff were really horrendous

Had a terrible experience at hri, after phoning an ambulance and waiting 75 minutes i gave up and rang a taxi, when i got to hri they said id get seen to pretty quick because I was having a heart attack, 3 hours i was left in a cubicle with no treatment, no pain relief and one of the male nurses even got a bit stroppy with me after id asked for pain relief for the 3rd time in 2 hours, i heard the doctor pleading with a female member of staff to get me to castle hill and she said what can i do, teleport him, luckily i eventually got an ambulance with wondetful paramedics who gave me pain relief and took me to castle hill, the best hospital you could find. They have amazing staff and the care and attention is second to none
