Cotswold Motoring Museum & Toy Collection
We spent over an hour, drooling over these amazingly well preserved exhibits. Very well presented and documented in their decades. Nostalgia is evoked with the written comments, video footage, often aided with images of TV characters and associated lifestyle items relating to toys, sport, fashion, household decor. Very well thought out. Well worth exploring!

The Lilliput Doll & Toy Museum
Nice little shop, good if looking for dolls or anything for a dolls house. There is also a mall collection of model cars here. You can also pay to go through a museum- with plenty of dolls and memorabilia. The museum is surprisingly large compared to the size of the shop. Definitely worth a visit if interested in dolls and toys as well as dolls and toys from the past.

One of the awesome free museums in Scotland! Make sure to donate, as the collection is expanding. Fun walk through history, through the eyes of a child...

Well we didn't know that place existed. We just passed by and thought to give it a go. We thought twice about paying the ticket, but we did. And in the end, that museum was worth every single penny we paid. The collection of old cars and motorcycles is massive. And all of them are well preserved and nicely placed on display. Most of the vehicles also had all the history behind them. The place was also decorated with several other stuff -some of them vehicle related but not all of them- that were brought from the past and they were giving an amazing feeling of being back then. Very immersive and well thought. If you ever pass by and you love cars or bikes (or even not at all, just feeling nostalgic for the past), deffo get in.

Haven’t been in about a decade since I was a kid, but if nothings changed it should still make for a nice day out. The staff were friendly and accommodating plus there’s alot to see.Must admit its probably best (obviously) for quite young kids. From what I remember there’s also some interactive displays which kept me occupied for far too long as a child.

Lynton Toy Museum and Shop
We arrived in Lynton Devon Monday morning and while we was waiting for the shops to open we found this little gem of a store. When me and Tara walked in it instantly took us back to our childhood as we looked around the items for sale.We decided to take a look around the massive museum of classic toys for only £2 each what a bargain. So many wonderful toys from our childhood highly recommended taking a look around this wonderful store and museum

Ty Twt Dolls’ House and Toy Museum
Probably the most extensive collection of antique doll houses and toys you will see in your life. Val (the collector and owner) gives an impeccable background to each of the houses and exhibitions. If you’re an enthusiast it’s a must see and if you aren’t it’s still definitely something to check out!

Quite a good place. But I'd be surprised if you were there for more than an hour. Would have given five stars, but the admission is way too expensive for the experience. Was nearly forty quid for three of us. Unfortunately once I'd paid, I noticed that the girl behind the desk COULD have given us a family discount, saving us at least a few pounds...but didn't bother. A tenner per adult and a fiver for kids would be a fairer price.
