Excellent journey to Manchester to go to theatre. Should have booked a seat for return at 5.45 p.m. had to stand. Train was on time but felt cost was too much. Over £30 for two of us at off peak. However easier than using car

Despite the narrowly averted strike, the skeleton service ran as planned, precisely on time. The lifts between platforms were very smooth too, so it certainly beats struggling to find a parking space during Huddersfiekd University graduation week! Glad I caught the train!

If you want to travel by train avoid transpennine express trains running through huddersfield. The service they offer is a joke there are more cancelled trains than the ones that are running and the few that do run are usualy late.To sum up a disgrace of a public service

In addition to the usual stuff you find in a station, there is a piano which people waiting can play and a world famous cat, Felix who has over 100,000 Facebook followers. Can be a bit grim and cold if your waiting for a train in the middle of the night though. Direct trains to Manchester Airport.

Quite possibly the best looking railway station in the United Kingdom, certainly the exterior is of absolutely outstanding beauty, and the train services from here are pretty good too, with very quick, frequent connections to Leeds,York, Manchester and Liverpool, Yorkshire at it's best !

No sign of the famous feline duo of social media fame, but a well maintained lovely Victorian station. Hope it keeps its character when the overhead masts and wires come along.

Disgusting service from Leeds to Manchester.. people stood like sardines for well over an hour. One poor woman with a baby struggled to get to the bathroom and back because the train was so full image of train at Stalybridge heading to Manchester piccadillyDO NOT YOU USE THIS SERVICE.

Poor three trains cancelled to Manchester Airport. Had to travel many hours before normal.

I think the big bald guy would prefer to choke slam you rather than let you through his barriers. There's a cute cat. The guys that sell coffee on platform 1 are nice. The ticket machines don't work properly. Fake police fine smokers outside. 10/10 the quickest way out of town (as long as the trains aren't cancelled)
