Surf school

Nigel and his team are amazing!! They helped to organise a group surf lesson the day after our wedding. They were so helpful in organising and supporting us all to have a great morning in the surf. We all managed to get up and surf some waves and it was the best way to freshen up the morning after the wedding. Will be back and would 100% book with them and recommend. Thank you so much Charlie and Philippa who helped us on the day and were absolutely fab!!!!

My first visit..Lovely relaxing Cafe , the food, price wise its at the high end of what you pay in a cafe. Breakfast Dinner and evening meals check before going being in these covid times as it says 9am to 9pm was gonna check on the way out but forgot..They sell alcohol also.And them Lovely cakes was amazing tbh, and food was lovely what my daughter had, but I'm not sure i like the oil the chips are cooked in we all have different tastes, I felt they needed a little longer to cook but do taste nice to be fair, could've been a bit more warmer the chips, but my daughter seems to like them.Staff are lovely and friendly, defo go back again and have a meal next time, the food coming out did look very lovely..Oh and Lovely sea views as you can see .

Had a great time today on the coast learning how to fly on a board while avoiding the heatwave in London. Such a great experience. Learned to surf in 7 days to ski in 3 this stuff can be learned from day 1. Thanks Rory for you patience, attention to detail and for suggesting that really good fish & chips place nearby!

They cancelled on me ! After a few reschedule because of low wind we had finally a spot on a Saturday. Instructor told me 9 am. Coming from London I asked if I could do a later slot, at least 10 am. He simply cancelled my booking. Unbelievable rudeness.

Tasty ice cream but overpriced at £5 for 2 small scoops

Myself and my friend went coasteering and surfing with oa surf club, we had an absolutely fantastic time!! The instructors were super friendly, patient and great at explaining & demonstrating what we were to do. Would highly recommend using oa surf club for an adventure, we will definitely be back down and booking back in.

We book surf lessons with Mark every year for our teenage boys during our weeks holiday in North Devon. They won't go with anyone else. Marks really down to earth, easy to talk to and initially put the boys at ease. The quirky horse box he runs his surf school from (which doubles as changing rooms) is so close to the beach so not far to carry surf boards. We were able to grab a coffee from a nearby van and watch the lesson or stroll along sea front. Highly recommend him. And will be returning again next year.

I had a beginner lesson today along with my son with instructor Nathan. We had a great time, highly recommended. Many thanks.

The smile says it all! My son insisted for his birthday he wanted to go surfing. He has additional needs so we investigated our options. From the first phone call (where it was quickly established a usual group lesson should be fine) and throughout the whole experience the team (specifically Craig and Anna) were attentive to him (and his party friends) ensuring that each child got individual attention and coaching to ensure they succeeded. All the kids thoroughly enjoyed the experienced so much so that after a brief lunch respite, boards were hired (from BSE) and more surfing ensued! A great day, thoroughly recommend and no doubt we’ll be back soon!
