We camped beside this wonderful stretch of water and watched light changing on the Snowdonia mountain range. A stunning area .. a real place of tranquility and natural beauty.

The Menai Straight is a beautiful part of the world with fantastic views from either side as well as the two bridges. Several towns and a city can be found on the mainland & island.

Best shore diving in Britain. I've dived here for thirty years and still never tire of the underwater world. Muddy shore that leads to beautiful clean, course sand, with loads and loads of life. you cannot put your hand down without touching something living down there. Absolutely love it.

Well worth a boat trip from the car park in Caernarfon. £10 for 45min tour is a bargain. The Menai Straits is a beautiful location and the tour was very informative.

The whole area is breathtakingly beautiful, wonderful historic sites, amazing beaches; and best of all, lovely warm welcoming locals. One of the finest areas in Britain.
