Total sham of a company. Since June i've been trying to get my money back after they changed the venue location without notifying ticket holders about this. The embarrassment I felt turning up to the madison bar, only for the bouncer to tell me they've moved the event to a different location. Save your money and time cos they'll definitely rob you of it.

Very exciting to be part of a professional bespoke service which vets only the most appropriate, suitable potential candidates that you can consider. I always have a really great time at a Single & Mingle event, the hosts are very welcoming and friendly and everyone that attends is very approachable so it's a great way to get back into the dating world or make new friends.I would highly recommend coming along to one

Attended the black singles event and it was a complete disaster!!! The event organisers would have known from ticket sales that the ratio of men to women was off, yet they still went ahead with the event. Only 4 men turned up and 12 women attended... Ridiculous!!! When I made contact to request a refund they keep coming up with rubbish excuses saying that all tickets had sold but the men chose not to turn up. Yeah right! In this cost of living crisis? Who has money to throw away??? They keep saying that credit has been applied to my account to attend another event (NO THANKS) but I don't even have an account, so how can credit be applied??? I've also noticed that the black singles event has never been advertised since on their website. Please AVOID and keep your money!!! Don't waste it on this terrible, FLOP of an event.NEVER AGAIN!!!

I booked tickets to an event, but the confirmation email I received had a different age range to the one advertised. I contacted Original Dating to check the event details and they confirmed that their event was advertised incorrectly on their Eventbrite listing. Understandably I wanted a refund. It took a lot of emails and chasing to get this refund and many of my emails were ignored. When I finally got a refund for the tickets, they didn't refund the full amount. They kept an admin fee even though they were the ones at fault. Therefore due to their inability to note key details correctly on their event listing, I lost money. I complained about this and my emails were ignored once again. Super poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend booking tickets to their events based on this experience.

I attended an event by Mo and Alisha for the first time. The event venue and food was good and I cannot fault it. I payed approx £45 to attend for the females over 30’s category.Whilst I appreciate we live in the age where society attaches a whole heap of stigma to older women- I was looking forward to the event and had approached it with an open mind being in my 40’s.The average age of the males in this group was mid thirties- again not an issue.However when queuing to be seated I showed my ticket to the female organiser - she glanced at me and my ticket and seated me on a table with some others. I quickly realised that I was seated on the table with chaperones/parents and I confirmed this with a lady sat on this table. I left the table and approached the female organiser who flippantly commented ‘ohh you are looking to participate, just wait there’. She didn’t return and shortly after a nice volunteer lady queried why I was standing and then seated me with in the right area with other ladies who had booked tickets for the event.The female organiser had not bothered to read my ticket, looked at my face/age- and assumed I was a parent/chaperone and seated me accordingly.This whole entry episode really knocked my confidence and upset me. If the organisers themselves are showing their natural bias, prejudiced attitude heavily tainted with ageism it doesn’t bode well for the inclusivity they are trying to promote- nor are they challenging society norms- just reinforcing them.I would have appreciated an apology as mistakes do occur or an acknowledgement, but nothing- the female event organiser did not interact with me after this incident.This whole episode lacked professionalism, manners, and basic courtesy. Would I attend another event organised by this couple-no.In comparison I attended a non aged event with Nur Networks- and although I am in my 40s , I was treated with respect and courtesy and didn’t feel ageism at play.If you work in the service industry and you work with people, their feelings matter; you need to have better manners. This is a genuine review and evidence can be provided if queried.

An amazingly fun event - I love the concept of it being a members social club for singles! I was so impressed with how welcoming and supportive everyone was as well as being so up for dancing! (Think excellent wedding vibes!)It was such a wonderful community of people and I made friends as well as meeting lovely potential dates. 100% will go again - this sort of event needs to be considered the mainstream way of dating!
