Food is phenomenal, especially for the price and I'd give it five stars based on that. But it is irritating that there is a big Visa sign at the front and nowhere does it say only cash" and they don't accept cards

Caffè Bonego (Macedonian Restaurant)
My ears are still ringing from the overly enthusiastic music. If you're looking for the blandest chicken and least-lit restaurant (even a candle would have been better!) then come to Bonego. From every other review this place seems to be great in the day, but it's a definite avoid for dinner.

An absolutely brilliant Serbian restaurant serving beautifully cooked food. I had a mixed meat platter to get the full range and it was superb - very good quality, tender and full of flavour, with the spicy sausage packing quite a punch but all the better for it. The wine was also excellent and everything about the place felt authentic. This is definitely a place that I will be coming back to.

One of our regular. Very friendly staff. The portions of food are very generous for a reasonable price. Nice cocktail bar. The outdoor space is large. Nice Eastern European food.

This is a great Serbian restaurant if you're looking for proper Serb food. The ćevapi are deliciously grilled, and the cheese pita (sirnica) is fantastic I recommend either. The atmosphere is nice as it's mostly Serbs around which gives it a feeling of authenticity and a stamp of approval. The service was great too. Food came out fast. It's not the cheapest though at around £50-60 for two folks to eat. I will say the portions are a healthy size though. Also it's cash only so bring your bills!

Came in a group of 4. All of us were satisified with the food and thought it was good quality.I had seabass and new potatoes, not exactly serbian food, but I cant fault it. I was really impressed, especially with the size of the fish as seabass is usually tiny. Compliments to the chef.Desserts were not as nice as the dinner, but we all still enjoyed and would deffo come back.

A very unassuming Serbian restaurant serving classic Balkan and east European dishes.The cevapcici is a classic dish and it’s delicious. Portion sizes are very generous and prices are good. The restaurant also have a covered terrace which is nice during warmer days and nights. Overall good food and service.

Unrivaled Balkan food experience with friendly and attentive service. Snapped the photo before all of our food had arrived but all meats, sallads and sides were amazing. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
