I have been a loyal customer at aroma for well over a year and I can say every curry I have ever had has been exceptional. Best curry house in the area by far. 5 star quality easily but I cannot rate it as so. However, I'm sorry to say that our love affair with aroma must come to an end. Delivery time has always been excessive (average 1.5hrs) yet every time I try the delicious curry and see the lovely delivery drivers face, we are forced to forget our frustration. Last night, aroma went a step too far. Ordered at 6.30, chased when the order was 2 hours late. Told it was out for delivery. Called every 30 mins and was told it was still out for delivery and the delivery driver must have abandoned his post. 5 phone calls and 3.5 hours after ordering, we were told that the order had been overlooked and was never even cooked let alone out for delivery. Went to bed with the promise of a call from the manager that was never to happen, grumpy and very hungry with not so much as an offer of a free naan chucked in next time. So aroma, I love you and your curry but this is the end of the road for us x

Fantastic Takeaway. Great food and professional service.Having recently experienced awful service from a DIFFERENT local takeaway - it made me appreciate how good Aroma are.Only one issue on numerous occasions ordering from here, and a full refund was given and fresh food cooked and sent out. Owner even delivered the food himself and came to apologise for the order going missing.The food is fab, best I've had since our favourite restaurant closed down in Stockport. Really tasty, not just packed with chilli - the flavours are great.Can't recommend enough.

This place used to be perfect but then the delivery times got ridiculous. My last few orders were wrong but the last order took the biscuit. I asked for a burger with only ketchup and no salad. Previously they came with mayo lettuce etc when I had asked for ketchup only. This time I specifically asked for ketchup only and what did i get? I got a burger with ketchup only as i had asked but the ketchup was ON TOP of the bun, not inside like normal but on top. This was not a mistake, it was someone taking the p***. I've never been back since.

Just ordered from here for the last time. Used to be really nice, it's gone from poor to really poor last couple of times. Burnt, dry onion bhajis (couldn't eat them), also no dip with them (used to get a mint yogurt dip) Kharai not nice (left most of it), ordered peshwari naan, got plain delivered, pilau rice stodgy. It's really disappointing when you wait for something and get such lacklustre food served up. Lost a customer. Sorry to give a bad review but that's what happens when you let standards slip so badly.

Food is delicious we always order curry dishes from here. Good portions. They had forgotten the sauces so I called to ask and the man on the phone, he was lovely and professional apologised, sent someone with the sauces and also sent some poppadoms as a gesture of goodwill which was nice of them they didn't have to. The driver also was apolosing. I know they must have been busy for a Saturday but this was nice of them

We have tried quite a few ethnic takeaways in our area. This little gem produces tasty consistently fabulous well cooked food on time economiclly priced We will be using them again and again.

This used to be the best place for curry in the north west! Beautiful food packed with actual mouthwatering flavour, free chutney & poppadoms or bottle of cold drink with orders over a certain £, excellent service by polite & friendly staff, & food delivered hot & timely by a really nice bloke. I have been a regular customer of aromas for a number of years but sadly, their standards have been slowly slipping. These days you receive no freebies in with your order. When food is late & the order chased up the call is answered with an abrupt 'do you want somethin'?' which is followed by a bad attitude and lies of 'its out for delivery' then it doesn't arrive at all. Too often they miss items off the order. When the standards started to slip I forgave this because when the food arrived it was worth the wait and I could forgive the poor customer service, but sadly even the quality of food is now below an acceptable standard. Last nights was once again bland with way too much spice & heat for a rogan josh, to compensate for lack of flavour. Meat was fatty & gristly. The naan bread was cold & hard. The Onion bhajis & chips were completely overcooked & inedible, and the burger, even the dog wouldn't touch. I decided to check the food hygiene rating with the FSA online, and in March 2017 could only manage a 3 star rating. Sorry to complain so much, but Aroma certainly is not what it used to be :(

It’s very rare that you find places that do a veggie option on nan.Well this places I had panner tikka on a garlic Nan with all the trimmings.Tasted amazing full of flavour highly recommend! So filling.The tikka went down well with the rest. Apparently best they had ever had.

Rudest delivery driver that I’ve encountered. The food was average, but arrived 30 minutes late so was cold. The driver attempted to charge me £2 extra for the delivery after already being charged the 50p stated on Just Eat. The driver was extremely rude and told me to not order from Aroma again as he claimed my house was too far away. After reading other reviews it seems this behaviour is not rare for Aroma and food often arrives late. Maybe look at other take away options before ordering from here to avoid disappointment and aggressive staff.
