Scottish restaurant

Received a voucher for my birthday. Was an amazing meal! Food was top notch. Well deserved of the 3 rosettes. Servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. Only thing I would say re the service (and this is me being picky), sometimes if one of us got up to the bathroom, we would come back and our plates were already served which meant we missed out on the explanations, and also clearing bread cutlery away whilst we were eating the next course. This didn't detract from the overall experience though and feel like tiny little tweaks to the service would get them to a Michelin star.

This was a truly a “once in a lifetime” experience. I was able to drink at The MaCallan bar at the distillery. I was able to try their newest release: Folio 7. What a treat that was. The bar keep (I believe it was Andrew) was very attentive, and he let me handle the bottles so that I could photo them as well.If you get the opportunity to drink here, I would not pass it up for anything!

Came for some tea, scones, and a stroll around the gardens. Everything was lovely! The staff were all very welcoming and friendly toward my little baby and I appreciated the nice baby changing station in the bathroom.

Really not good ,no heating,very cold.Dirty towels, broken toilet door,other peoples clothes on the floor,dirty wet wipes left on ,,, its really worth spending the extra 10 15 quid to go somewhere clean and warm. Disasapointing.

Love this place!Came here on a whim to try to convince my boyfriend that brunch was good, and this place certainly delivered and convinced him!The menu has a large variety of options. There’s something for everyone and it’s reasonably priced. The food was nice and the drinks were enjoyable.My partner had the creamy mushroom steak open sandwich, and he said it was one of the best things he’d ever eaten. I had the eggs royale and it was good, the sourdough bread was quite hard, but that’s my only criticism. The chai latte was amazing.The staff were lovely and I’d most definitely come back here again when I return to Glasgow.

The modern style of the restaurant denotes the innovation of the profile.Oysters ginger was so strong that the subtle flavor of oyster was taken away.Hummus was average cos the sweetness was too sharp.Deep fried fish was very good.Venison sausage was better than the steak cos the steak was too strong.

The Edinburgh Larder is a true gem in Edinburgh. The cuisine here is excellent, and their commitment to using local and seasonal ingredients really shines through in every dish. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere of the place. I particularly loved their Eggs Benedict, an absolute delight! Moreover, they are very accommodating to cater to your dietary preferences. Overall, an outstanding brunch experience that I highly recommend.

Beautiful ambience, friendly staff. Meals were delicious. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommend.

We spent two nights at the Dipping Lugger in June. The hotel was quaint with only 3 rooms and professionally managed. The highlights were the dinners which were the best we had in Scotland. We would recommend visiting the Dipping Lugger for a meal or staying at least one night. Our room, Maginnes, had the best view in our opinion. Parking within the hotel was also very convenient and it was a great location to walk around Ullapool.Thank you Robert for the hospitality. We will always remember our stay there!
