I'd been so excited to try this place. I ordered a vegan burrito and it's great that they have fake chicken on offer. Unfortunately, it was all hard as a rock and I had to pick it all out.

The most amazing experience... Even though officially this place hadn't opened yet, when seeing me arriving with my young kids, the owner generously welcomed us with open arms, sharing food he had prepared earlier that day. Excellent Mexican cuisine, only surpassed by the generosity of the person preparing it. See you soon, when you are officially open! ¡Hasta pronto!

EVERYTHING I was craving! The beef tacos were amazing. They were super easygoing ans I had a bunch of different toppings and the fillings were all different too! The horchata was sooo cinnamony and flavourful! Exactly what I needed. Will be back! Customer service was PHENOMENAL! So friendly!

The most delicious find!! The tacos stole my heart. Vegan chicken, fully loaded with corriander, jalapeños, onions, tomatoes, spicy sauce and guacamole, a generous portion. The burrito was huge and fully loaded with lots of yummy bits from the salad bar, sauce, vegan chicken, beans and rice... but above all super fresh tasty food!!Lots of other option too, beef, pork, chicken, nachos! And delivery options!

We had the pork tacos the second day Rascal opened, they were tasteless and cold. The cheese nachos were just tortilla chips with cold grated cheese on top. Would recommend visiting babhaus in newport market to get some inspiration.

I had the privilege of not only tasting this great Mexican food, but also had the pleasure of meeting the owners who are brothers! These guys were super nice, accommodating, and were full of joy to make this delicious food for their customers. You can tell they love what they do!For my order, I choose to get a Mexican bowl with chicken. I enjoyed it very much, they loaded my bowl to the top, the food was fresh, and they really focused on that Yucatan flavor from Mexico. They even gave me an Horchata drink on the house! I was super surprised that they even had Horchata. I'm from Los Angeles and its a definitely a staple and treat for Mexicans back home and especially in Baja California. I will definitely be back! If you haven't tried yet, give them a try!
