Wollaton Hall, Gardens and Deer Park
Absolutely lovely walk around the lake. It doesn’t take long and there are ducks and geese to feed. Keep an eye open for the deer roaming freely on the grounds.Parking isn’t free, it’s £5 flat fee for the whole day even if you arrive late afternoon. There is a cafe and a museum which is great but check the website because it can close on random days.

The outside of the museum has been cleaned in recent years and looks magnificent. We arrived at opening time with free timed entrance tickets purchased online. This is essential to avoid long lines. It seemed like every tourist in London makes a pilgrimage to see the animated dinosaur, which is the key attraction. We also visited the gems gallery which was comprehensive but overwhelming.

Fantastic museum! Visited for the first time and was blown away! Plenty to see and the staff were fantastic. Particularly impressed with the aids available for those on the spectrum. The rucksacks etc at each location meant our son got to really enjoy the experience. Thank you ❤️

Wondering why I haven't been here before! Great size with lots of interesting items. Big enough to keep short attention spans engaged. Opposite and by the car park is also the park to spend some time burning off energy. Lovely place to visit for adults and children alike.

Really enjoyed a family trip to the museum. A very very impressive taxidermy collection of very large animals...a bit sad but the specimens were collected many moons ago during the age of exploration.Lovely activities for children within the museum with a good handling collection.Children get some accessories to dress up with on arrival should they wish, which was a nice touch. We had a picnic in the formal gardens which were beautiful bin the late summer. We loved the walled garden especially. There was a nice woodland walk also and a nice café on site which we enjoyed a cream tea at in the afternoon. Very tasty. Recommend!

Small but beautiful museum! What gives the 5 star is that you can actually touch, feel and check on many arqueological pieces that are from Millions of years ago! You can hold on your hand an actual dinosaur teeth and a hornwhale horn!My kid enjoyed too much this museum!

Eton College Natural History Museum
Small museum, extensive collection of British birds, but also other spiecies. No acces for buggies or wheelchairs you have to climb a curved staircase and then come out on an even curvier one. Good for older children. Very friendly staff.

Fossil Grove
So sad that Glasgow has a world famous site like this that just doesn’t open. Needs a better solution. Charge a couple of quid to enter and ask for volunteers (plenty of enthusiastic geologists in the city!).

Wow well what can I say, other than apparently I now need to buy my 5 year old a time machine because he loves dinosaurs that much!!!Everything was amazing, from the booking, the knowledge that Pete has and the actual event of reggae Rex running around our garden. The pictures don’t do him justice, he is an amazingly giant Dino which kids (and adults) will love.We loved the whole experience and will certainly be booking again!
