Proper guitars, for proper musicians. This guy is undoubtably the best. Been using his instruments for years now. I always keep a close eye on everything he's working on as there's always something exciting around the corner.

The work that goes into these pickups really shows, the tone, the rasp, the pure insanity of the humbuckers.. It's second to none. I would have no one else work on my collection.

After doing MUCH research (6+ months in 2018-2019), I finally decided to take a chance on Emerald Guitars and order one without having been able to play one in person. I am so glad I did... not only was I now the owner of the finest musical instrument I'd ever played, but now I was faced with the decision on which one to order next! Yes, they're expensive... but the personal craftsmanship that goes into these guitars is of the highest caliber. I now own four of their beautiful guitars and play each one of them almost every day. If you can think up some customization that you'd love to have, the company's owner, Alistair Hay, can probably come up with a way to do it for you. He loves a good challenge!

Meridian made us a beautiful C Ashakiran instrument to support our Music in Healthcare work with people living with dementia. Duncan was very helpful in identifying the best instrument for our needs, and Meridian were incredibly generous in their support of our work, providing us with several extra notes without additional charge. We appreciate this gesture, and are delighted with the sound and feel of this wonderful instrument. It is already having a great impact on our work!

I first met Alex Bishop on Sunday June 7th 2015. When I walked into Alex's guitar wrangling emporium I was a young, but dedicated Christian in need of a guiding hand. It seemed that I had been mislead by Alex's perplexing surname. Haim is a very knowledgeable and inspiring luthier with a clear ambition for his art and music in general. He took my old strat in desperate need of some TLC and has returned it to me in beautiful condition, with frets stoned & crowned, now singing like never before! Absolutely amazing service, fully restored my late grandads trumpet to a great standard. So happy with the work and very reasonable priced. They've made a happy family with their work and means a little bit of our family lives on
