Balmaha Lodges
Absolutely amazing quiet little retreat I would highly recommend to everyone to visit here. We stayed for the weekend and was so impressed with every part from start to finish the staff were amazing showed us to our lodge and explained everything to us, then left us to it, the lodge was very clean and had everything we needed, it was like a wee home away from home, this was the second time I've been and I will definitely be going back.

Absolutely love this place - even now in the depths of winter, Rayburn Stove on, night closing in on the Herefordshire countryside. Jeff and Carey are angels - we've been back 5-6 times since, bizarrely, I was introduced to them and permaculture by Bez from the Happy Mondays! They run a house on solar and wind in Hereford! They point towards a better way of doing things. The little wood cabin is a perfect place to escape it all.

Balmaha Lodges
After just returning from a 2 night stay at Balmaha Lodges I cannot recommend them enough. The lodges are in a beautiful location just across the water from Loch Lomond with fabulous views. There are a number of great walks in the area plus the local shop and pub are only 2 mins away on foot!Colin and the team couldn't have been more accommodating, we were celebrating a birthday and our lodge was decorated with banners and balloons for our arrival, plus a lovely bottle of prosecco for the birthday girl courtesy of Balmaha Lodges. The lodges inside and out are very well maintained with all the amenities you would need for a very comfortable stay, and the hot tubs are divine!A special thank you to Colin who went over and above to make our stay extra special and truly memorable. We will be back.

Balquhidder Mhor Lodges- Luxury Scottish Log Cabins With Hot Tubs
What can I say apart from WOW! Beautiful cabin. Beautiful location. Can’t wait to return and I can thoroughly recommend! Cabin had everything and I mean EVERYTHING you need for a self catering getaway. Wasn’t sure exactly what I needed to bring so here’s a wee list to help. Just your food and drink, ketchup and mayonnaise if required and your cozzie for the hot tub and ladies, your shampoo if like me you like to use your own brand. Kitchen has absolutely everything you need! Very clean throughout . Comfy beds. You can tell the owners have put their heart and soul in this place. I stayed for 3 nights and didn’t want to leave. Stayed end November (needed to chill out) but would like to go back in the summer and get out and about. Only about 40 minutes from where I live but I felt like I was a million miles away. You won’t be disappointed if you book to stay here!

Warm space with great company. My friend and I parked here for a wet day on our hike and met lots of other hikers. Everyone was friendly and we had a good time chatting while everyone cooked supper. A few people brought coal or wood for the fire so we were plenty warm. There are lots of hooks on the walls and a line to hang up wet clothes; my pants dried overnight but my socks and boots refused. We fit 4 people that night, but my friend says she's slept there with 9!The privy was in good condition - no complaints!

Nice bothy aslong as you don't mind sharing it with coke heads who want to prove there a changed person or there also the outdoors type and not just a coke fiend on Facebook who buy all the gear but have no idea! (plastic climber's)
