Rowlands have repaired equipment on our old boat and fitted out a new boat for us with Navigation, VHF and other equipment. We have always been very pleased with the result. Ian has always been very helpful and met all the deadlines we have given him. For first class service I would strongly recommend them.

Great for new trailers, parts, outboards, spares, fixings and u-bolts

Excellent service on some spares that I purchased, I had missed a pair of mudguard brackets from my original order , I called explained my mistake and the person I spoke to in the office took my order for the extra brackets to the warehouse so that it could be shipped immediately. Could not have asked for a better service, goods arrived the following day.

When our sailing cruiser was struck by lightning whilst moored in our marina we had no idea of the extent of the repairs that would be necessary. We struggled to find someone competent and willing to help until we met Ian Loffhagen, MD of Rowlands Marine. From the outset, Ian offered sensible advice on the new products available and how to proceed, and prepared detailed quotations for our insurers. He then embarked upon installing the completely new electronics including radios, 12V panel, alternator and engine electrics, heating and lighting. Although based in North Wales, Ian and his technician undertook the work on our boat at Portishead marina in a most professional manner, effectively dealing with the numerous emergent problems in a most efficient manner. Ian provided helpful guidance during the commissioning and trials of the new equipment, and Liz in the office speedily resolved some warranty issues with the new equipment.We cannot recommend Rowlands Marine highly enough for the efficient and friendly way in which they undertook this major project on our boat.

Looking at this marina for the 1st time, seems to have everything you would want, a club house plenty of parking a nice slipway toilet block very clean, can't say about staff as never meet up with any, watch out when entering as its got great security and you may enter but you may not be able to get back out so if you are wanting to have a look around make sure that you get a appointment well worth a look one of the better marina's in the area

Lovely place to visit. My kind of marina. Good facilities . Dries out dramatically but very soft mud so no problems for my 27 foot twin keeler. The approach channel is narrow but well marked. My depth is 1.2m and I had no problems at the top of a neap tide. If you need to wait for the tide their are large mooring buoys at the mouth of the creek. I'd hurt my back and the shore staff asked around for pain killers, going above and beyond. Nice food. I had the locally caught fish. Good beer. Lovely lawn for the kids to stretch their legs. Clean. Friendly. Good loos and the showers looked fine, although I didn't try them. Good value. I paid £18 and friends paid £20 for their £32 footer. Good local walks apparently but I was happy just to watch the kids run about enjoying the club houses fantastic hospitality.
