I ordered a map from 1905 for my university dissertation research and choosing Alan Godfrey maps was such a good idea. The map was a good price and I was kept updated with information about my order. It arrived really quickly, I would definitely use this site again and I have already told some of my uni friends about it.

Lovely and knowledgeable chap with some fantastic pieces - picked up a couple of maps that are more than 100 years old at incredibly reasonable prices. Great little shop will definitely be returning.

Very expensive! I printed a simple sheet with black text and just because I had a qr code it cost £3.60 just for a sheet. Absurd, I do not recommend and will not return. Lost a customer because I always need to perform a fingerprint.

Wonderful service at this lovely local bookstore.Zero pressure however I was keen for some recommendations and received honestly the best service I have had in any store... ever! Ended up getting 2 gifts and something for myself. I recently purchased online a rare (possibly unique) publisher's leather-bound version of Len Deighton's Berlin Game, by Alfred E. Knopf of the US. The item arrived today and it is exactly as it is described in the company's description on the ABE Books website, and I am very pleased with it. Angus Robb contacted me straight after the process and kept me informed about each stage of the sale and delivery, and I did feel reassured that I was purchasing from a proper bibliophile and dealer, rather than just a seller of old books. Once this lockdown is over, I would be keen to visit the actual store.

Overpriced for the same edition of maps compared to other sellers. The website is old and no useful information about the map’s condition and price. Judging how much they charge people, they should really improve their website to make it on par with most of its competitors
