Lido

The only outdoor pool in this area, the Lido is surrounded by parkland including the river (Wye), woodland, extensive playing fields and playgrounds for younger and older children. There is also a small cabin cafe at the far end where they serve coffee tea, a range of soft drinks and I believe hot dog and chips and the like. They also hire out boats for use on the river. There are tennis courts at the other end near the poolAs such, it has a good selection of activities for all.Unfortunately, the pool is disappointing. The changing facilities looked uncared for, badly needing a lick of paint. The grass area to the side of the pool is not maintained - grass not cut, and the picnic tables and benches don't look as if they've been painted for quite a while. The pool itself is adequate - the shallow end is good for young children and the deep end deep enough for older and if the rest of the area was maintained, it would be a great day out. There is a nice little cafe next to the pool, a reasonable sized (completely cashless) car park and public toilets on the car park.I probably will go again, but, considering this is (I believe) a privately owned facility, I was surprised by the poor state of repair in the middle of the summer holiday season.

Huge 60 metre open air unheated swimming pool in Hampstead Heath. Unlike most lidos/pools the basin has a really cool stainless steal lining. Changing rooms and showers available. For a small fee you can use the cute little sauna hut next to the pool. Staff are lovely! Open all year.

Edit: this place has really gone downhill recently. Attached photo of the jacuzzi really says it all.Great place to swim and gym all year round. The pool is large and in good condition (but be aware it is unheated so prepare wetsuits for winter months) and is surrounded by lockers and places to spectate and lounge in summer. However, the changing room could be cleaned more often but I do appreciate the warm showers and hair dryers.Inside the building is a surprisingly large gym and small spa area. Lots of machines and rooms for classes (but classes aren't included in many of the memberships - myself and my partner have the joint gym and swim membership which gives access to the lido, gym and spa and costs about £77 a month). The spa has a hydrotherapy pool, a steam room and a sauna in addition to loungers and showers.At the minute members still have to book time slots to use the facilities (and are subject to a charge if you don't turn up or cancel within the hour of the slot). Be aware that even as members swimming slots are booked very quickly so you have to be ready to check the app as soon as slots become available. Sad that the pool is closed after the sun sets as they don't have outdoor lights which means I can't use it after work from September, but you can still go early mornings or weekends.

Great place to swim

They have gender-neutral single cabin changing rooms outdoors right by the pool, which is very practical. The outdoor showers are also gender-neutral, but have no cubicles. I don't remember if there were any gender-neutral toilets.The outdoor pool is beautiful!I visited on a hot summer weekend and did need to book in advance, but found that it was still possible to find a slot to book the day before (unlike many other London lidos!).On the downside, it's pretty expensive, it does cost noticeably more than other lidos, such as Brockwell lido. The indoor changing rooms & showers are also not as clean or well-kept as the outdoor ones.

Absolutely Pure Gym! I have being using this Gym for the past 5 years! Lots of varieties of classes which are absolutely great with very knowledgeable trainers who are at the same time friendly and helpful, Always there to help! I would recommend to anyone who wants to get fit, lose weight and maintain their health fitness! The environment is clean, spacious with lots of varieties of equipments!

You have to pay for parking even in weekends and on Sunday, a non-Richmond resident is charged even more. The parking officer was really on my nerves as I was trying to pay at the machine he kept walking around and clicking pics of all cars.Then it seemed you had to book for a family swim, which wasn’t when we were there last time. We wanted to leave and they give only partial refund for parking. Will never visit again.

Amazing pool staff really friendly. Water kept at a good temperature.

Have been a member for a couple of years and I'm sad to be having to stop my membership as this now is plain exploitation from Fusion of this space and our love for it.We have no hot water for a week now at the gym which is essential as well as having only two working showers for women in the whole gym for months now, a broken steamroom and hydro pool for a year and a half as well as a broken outside sauna for even longer. On top of that the pool is dirty and some of the running, cycling, the rowing machine and more are not working. Is been a joke and Fusion is taking advantage of the fact that people appreciated this local amenity. They are thieves really, false advertising all these amenities and basic facilities that don't work and don't exist.

Fantastic pool and great value as a private hire, really great hour spent swimming with friends
