Kosher restaurant

The salt beef is out of the universe and one of the best I’ve ever had. Loved the other dishes specially the hummus. I’ll be coming again every time I’m in London

Unfortunately we had a less than stellar experience. This is a basic grill style cafe and the prices even for kosher food are extremely inflated. The service was friendly but they ask customers to go to a counter to order and pay in advance - aside from meaning tips don't go to staff necessarily - this means if one is not happy one cannot simply say one doesn't want to pay. In our case we ordered a humus stater which was enough for two but only arrived with one small piece of pita bread - we had to order and pay 80p for a second piece! A customer at another table ordered extra pickles and was told to pa extra. This all just came across as quite mean. Pre extra pita, our bill was over £54 for a shnitzel and a laffa wrap - so a piece of extra pita should really be on the house. The salads accompanying our dishes were good, fresh and varied, but the dishes were sub par. My dining companion's shnitzel seemed frozen, not freshly breaded and quite basic. My kebab was not a kebab but rather three kefta style burgers. The leffa bread was completely cold and quite unpleasant. When we complained the restaurant did nothing but just said that's how it is. I left the restaurant my name and telephone number as the owner wasn't there, incase they cared to call and make things right.

Food was of generally high quality, tasty but not extraordinary. Service is a bit slow, they could certainly do with more waiting staff. Beware bell peppers are not always what they seem. Ours turned out to be a very hot chilli pepper.

A 5* review for a lovely breakfast, great variety of choice, tasteful decor and a relaxing ambience, ruined by the demand of £5 for allowing entry to a sleeping baby in a buggy.Whilst I understand that you don't want the place turned into a buggy park, we were the first and only customers in the restaurant. If you don't allow your staff to use a little discretion and common sense, at least have the decency to show your face when a customer requests to speak to you.

The food is delicious, fresh ingredients , their tahini and everything they make with it are top tier. This branch is only vegetarian , but the food is so tasty that will satisfy even the most hardcore carnivore.Their chips were not as good as the ones I tried in their Goldens Green branch , but it might be just a bad day.Friendly service ( the brothers are very polite and helpful)Prices are on for the area.If you like tahini , and Israeli street food - this is your spot !

The food in this place is a problem, and I mean that in all the best ways possible. Delicious. Service is great with a plethora of menu items to choose from. You should come here.

Food of good quality, nothing food wise stuck out as amazing or unique but everyone was satisfied with their dish. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Place is a bit dated inside however they said they have been around for 50 years so regulars probably don't mind this as long as the food is good.

Gents downstairs; No locks on the toilets or handle. In this regard, very careless attitude and no consideration to respect anyone's privacy.
