Retro Kimono | Red Brick Market Birmingham
Amazing little find in such a big market. I felt like I was walking down a Japanese street in that corner! I have now been a few times, once by chance where I bought a 80s haori jacket in orange. I wear it out and get constant compliments on it. I then went to a Japanese festival which was immense! I got another black and white haori- I can’t get enough! The owners really went into detail on how each pattern or texture is created so I feel special each time I wear them! I got cute socks, chopsticks and prints as gifts. It’s just great!

Amazing haori and kimonos! Every time I pass it I wish to buy some more and I barely have the refrain to do so (is having 3 haori and one kimono really enough... hmmm? must get more).

Is the shop open now? I want to visit but last time I checked it was still under construction.

Tried looking for you but with no pictures is very difficult to find with just the address as most shops are in the 800s

What a delightful addition to Leamington Spa!I was honestly blown away today by how kind and passionate the person working in store was. They knew so much about all of the products and seemed to love being a part of the team there and everything they stand for.I went in today with the task of buying my mother (the women with everything) something for her birthday. There's a lovely selection of things in there, from beautiful kitchen/ homeware item's as well as the most amazing smelling candles (fresh, fragrant but not overpowering) and room sprays. I was also informed at the till that you can return the candle jars and bottles to get money off your next purchase.I also received great advice on tea blends to try and what it works best for and how long to brew for at what temperature. There are some fantastic options for tea brewing... not sure what it's called but jist is there. Lots of kettles and a bottle for on the go" loose leaf tea

Wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable human beings making a positive difference in the world, genuinely and passionately caring about the planet and its people. Not simply green washing like some eco friendly" businesses

I walked and walked and asked and walked! I just couldn't find this shop anywhere, and none of the other shop keepers had ever heard of it! very disappointing considering I travelled for 2 hours to get there. A phone number really isn't too much to expect in a business, it would have made my life much easier, if this shop really does exist :(
