Indian Muslim restaurant

We went to Chaska and chaii today for lunch. We had chicken saag karahi and lamb karahi, the food was delicious we really enjoyed it and kids. so have to rate them on that.But have got to say the service and wait was absolutely dreadful and the staff were so un-attentive and slow. Had to repeatedly call them and ask them how long the wait would be. we went at 1.30 and our order wasn't taken till around 2.15 and then food arrived just around 3ish that to as i nagged and asked for it to be quick.Service and wait time is very bad and there is no structure in place. The atmosphere was lovely but it was extremely busy.Husband wanted Puri and chole but by the time we was served they had stopped serving it as apparently after 1.30 they don't do puri chole.

Food is incredibly nice here. Portions are big. You get a lot for your money and above all the manager is a very lovely person with great humour. It was a great diner. We surely come back here again.

I only tried hyderabadi, lamb and chicken dum biryani. They were extraordinary. Anyone can blindly go for it if you're from South India

Ok first off, I have never seen a garlic and chilli naan quite as big as the one we were presented with. So if you’re hungry, this is the place to be. Having not visited Shahbaaz before we decided to opt for a few different dishes that were highlighted to us by our server on the night. The food was outstanding and genuinely I couldn’t fault it (apart from one or two elements of the mixed starter being slightly over cooked). The only thing - and it’s a very minor thing - that let this place down for me was the lack of atmosphere. However, we did dine in on a Tuesday night, so to can imagine the weekend would be much busier and buzzing with chatter. All in all a fantastic restaurant in the heart of Aberdeen.

Always good quality food - whether eating in or takeaway. Good value if you use one of the deals. Service can be a little slow when I've eaten in before when it wasn't overly busy there. Certainly best Indian in the area compared to others.

lovely place, staff are polite and fast, was a bit cold and quiet when i went on a weekday evening, probably more atmosphere on a weekend. Food was nice, not the best not the worst but was hot and there is a large selection

Been there a few times and I must say it has the best Indian cuisine in Aberdeen. Food quality and service is great. Special mention to the Lamb chops, tadka daal and prawn curry ! I highly recommend this restaurant!

By far the best take out lunch spot in Leeds. The bbq chicken sandwich is second to none, the rice boxes are equally as delicious; full of flavour. The portions are incredibly generous and the prices are more that reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Nice restaurant and very helping staff.Plenty of variety of food.Tawa grill was quite good. Chicken Karachi in Tawa hadn’t enough gravy snd when pointed out staff brought a quite big portion of gravy, we were really pleased.Orange juice was fresh.Loves the payas and the naan. Portion were sufficient.Free parking isn’t readily available but there’s pay and display parking on lady pool road, just walking distance away.Prices were reasonable too

This was my first time having paneer pizza and it was so delicious. The samosa chaat is the best I've tried so far. Honestly everything is just delicious
