Hunting and Fishing Shop

A friend recommended AD to me. I've been living in S.Wales for ten years and I recently decided to start fishing again. I was going to support the local fishing shop but my mate steered me toward AD instead. So glad he did!My employer gives me a £200 Well Being" bonus every year so I decided to put it towards a brand new fishing kit

I have the fishing aptitude of a prairie dog, but my wife is dead keen and I bought her a day fishing with Peter for her birthday and it more than reingited her love of the sport.Peter is a relaxed and highly knowledgeable host and guide, he took us to a beautiful Highland loch and was soon rolling us out on the water and gently talking us through the ins and outs of a trout fly cast. Not only was I surprised to find that I didn't feel entirely inept, it wasn't too long before I had a pull on the line and Peter was showing me how to land my first ever brown trout. We went onto have a great day, landing fish, losing fish and shooting the breeze. Peter was a patient, easy going host and raconteur throughout - a great way to spend a carefree day in the Highlands.

Phoned about getting some crab he had some buy would not sell as he was sitting on it. I will only use as last resort now.

Well set out shop with friendly staff

Absolute shocking after care service. Bought some vass boots from Wroxham and wore them for 3 hours in the torrential rain and they leaked so much so my feet were literally in puddles. After this they absolutely stank like fishing nets and piss considering they had only been worn first time and was still brand new I was met with no help from the manager in store. He said to me it was my fault getting them wet and no poor build quality or the fact the rain was hammering down had nothing to do with it. Also was told because I had wore them there was nothing he could do which I replied how are you meant to know something is faulty until used .I wanted a refund especially as they was only 2 days old but was told no it was all fault and they will not help. I took them to angling direct in Colchester and told the people the same and was met with nothing but good service and was promptly refunded my money which is to be expected as they was 2 days old and clearly were faulty. Basically because it was a Sunday and the manager is an absolute knob he couldn’t be bothered to do his job absolute shocking service from a so called angling enterprise.

Great shop and super range of kit. Particular thanks to Josh on 28th July for all of his help setting me up with feeder fishing gear and a Preston Feeder chair and attachments, all absolutely brilliant...great advice given from someone who really knows his stuff...and it all works a treat..first 4 hour session produced 8 decent carp upto 9lb..must be the new gear!!

Absolutely 1st class service from them , went to see Ashley at the shop to buy a fx m3 air rifle his knowledge and advice was spot on, I highly recommend anyone and everyone to pay them a visit.

Was here for a week for our friends wedding. Amazing place. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The site is fantastic. 10 minutes drive to the centre of Wrexham but nicely outside the city. Can't wait to get back here. Would recommend it to anyone. We had our 3 kids with us, and they loved it.

Good shopping experience. Adequate levels of staff to address customers request for assistance when required.
