Bartlow Hills
We parked at the Church gate in Bartlow and followed the public path to the mounds. There was no parking at the other end. There is an information board behind the second mound, interesting to see there used to be more.

Craigend Castle
Derelict ruins. Was also an old zoo up to 1955. Situated within Mugdock Country Park

Gwrych Castle
We visited Gwrych Castle for an escape live event. Amazing experience, you could tell a lot of effort had gone into making the experience so good. The characters were fantastic and scared the hell out of me. Please bring this back next year. Thank you

A nice little hidden spot that doesn't see to much footfall.

Govan Old Church
Any one interested in Welsh, Scottish and Viking history should visit this place. It remarkably stood surrounded by ship yards holding on to it's great historical treasures and is now unearthing even more. A church has been here since the fifth century and long may it go on. Make sure you use one of the guides their fantastic.

Interesting place to visit. Free entry.Narrow Steep Spiral staircase with uneven steps, would be quite challenging for elderly or disabled

The Quays
Went there for food on a quick trip to Manchester and we only found the food court upstairs, it was full of the world's food. We had Ethiopian and Eritrean and it was amazing that food had 5 stars.

Stirling Castle
We loved this castle. The gardens are beautiful. In the palace apartments there were people dressed in period costumes as nobleman, a musician and a security guard. The musician was playing the lute and was quite good. This really helped to bring the history to life. We were able to self guide through the buildings. It was a wonderful experience.

Bodrhyddan Hall
Bodrhyddan Hall guided tour was great experience, some of the rooms were really impressive and surprising. The garden is lovely, not too big, but well kept. I had coffee and delicious cake at the tea room. Super friendly staff.
