I’m sad to give a poor rating to what I expected to be a sweet neighbourhood Cantonese restaurant.The food was ok, but for the price was very small portions and only fair quality. 1/2 crispy duck was quite dry and had almost no meat. Pancakes were raw and cold, not warm at all. Special rice had maybe a few shrimps and no vegi with a couple of pieces of dry chicken, was not special and double the price of egg fried rice. We saw a staff member arrive with boxes of frozen food from the shops and heard the “ding” of a microwave several times. Not confident that the food is made fresh.They are in construction so be careful when heading downstairs to the loo. You’ll have to navigate a cluttered narrow hallway filled with debris and building material.I’m optimistic that this critique will hopefully encourage this cute neighbourhood restaurant to make some much needed improvements.

Caroline & Rob have been fantastic, introducing us to bio-resonance as well as a ton of practical advice on health. We had a day’s worth of treatment at their Newton Hale Centre in Kinnerton near Chester, and were extremely well looked after. Caroline & Rob also made a trip to London to give us treatments at our home. Thank you both for a great eye-opening experience.

Fab staff and great classes

Beautiful country hotel and spa with excellent staff.We had a free upgrade to a dog friendly king size room ( room number 147), it was on the ground floor with a door out onto a very large grassed area, just perfect when you have a dog.We met some lovely people in the bar which is located in the older part of the hotel, there was a lovely ambience sitting in the comfy chairs looking out of the window.Lots of people around when we were there but no queues waiting to get served.Breakfast buffet was excellent as was an evening meal we had in the bar.

Just spent the most wonderful weekend at yoga n spice . From the accommodation, food, yoga , location and hosting everything was perfect. Feel totally rested and also learned so much from Lorraine and her marvellous team . Also met a really lovely bunch of women.We shall be back!

I typically am not one to write reviews, but this is worthy! I stayed in one of the lovely log cabins for 3 days but wish I could have stayed longer! The cabin was spotless, cosy, and the shower was fantastic. What a special place set in leafy woodland close to a stream and positioned perfectly for wonderful walks to and around Whitby. The cabins have been built very sensitively, with conservation in mind, and are run by two special people: Lorraine and Mark. They took great pride and care in making sure my stay was just what I needed: I had meals tailored to my individual needs (vegan) which were absolutely fantastic, including home-grown organic veggies (I have come away with new amazing recipes which I have been trying myself at home!). Various walking routes and options were willingly shared, which were absolutely spot-on. Yoga sessions were also tailored to my requirements, and I had a go at aerial yoga too in the fantastic spacious new-build yoga cabin which was wonderful! I must say that Lorraine is extremely modest and not one to blow her own trumpet, but she also is skilled in Ayurveda (and no doubt many other things!) and once I realised this I booked a consultation with her, which has provided valuable insights into my dietary needs and routes to better wellbeing. I would definitely recommend, from anyone just needing a quiet retreat and a walking base, through to those interested in deepening their yoga practice and sampling some fantastic home-cooked food. I will definitely be returning when I can! Thanks Lorraine and Mark! :)

Absolutely loved our week at Yurtshire. We did have issues with our hot tub but the host couldn't have been more helpful in getting it sorted and finding a solution. Loved the 'off grid' nature of the Yurt and enjoyed getting fires going in the hot tub and inside the yurt itself. With it being in Nidderdale and on the doorstep of the dales there is loads to do if you want things to do. would 100% recommend to anyone
