Good source of information for finding out family history although limited in some way. Also the site keeps getting errors when typing in search they really need to sort out this problem.

Our experience has been shambolic. From the start two years ago,it has still not ended. Hoopers are not governed by a overviewing body. When we made a complaint we were bogged off.Before we signed up with them,they were not honest with us. Please do not sign up with Hoopers,save yourself the heartache and frustration!

I have been researching my family tree for many years and consider myself fairly adept at accessing genealogical information. However, one particular line had always eluded me. I gave Helena a few facts and within a couple of hours she had discovered the records that open up this apparent dead end, enabling me to extend this line back several generations. Helena’s research skills are complemented by a genuine passion for history and, in particular, local history, and this is evident in how she presents her findings for the client. I felt she had a real interest in the people I asked her to research, and that made the whole process feel much more personal.

After many many years of researching an ancestor and simply getting nowhere, I wrote to Michelle Smith of Family Trees Unlocked. Frankly – she was brilliant, she dug deeply and uncovered things about him and his family that I would never have found. It was fascinating! She even found photocopies from newspaper articles about him and his family. With her insight and expertise, I am now finally able to put him and the many questions I had about him, to rest.

Searching for your long lost relatives is a labour of love but there comes a time when you can get no further for all sorts of reasons.
