First year of fostering and couldn’t have had a more supported and positive experience from FCA. Right from our first contact with them, FCA has felt like a family who genuinely care their children and their carers.

Capstone Foster Care
Since joining Capstone Foster Carein 2021 I haven’t looked back. The passion and determination I’ve seen to offer positive outcomes for young people has been incredible. A small change can have a massive impact, and I’m so glad to be part of this fantastic organisation!

Mosaic Foster Care
I have been a foster carer for mosaic for nearly five years and have always found the agency to be supportive and professional. The package they offer is brilliant with a comprehensive support system and a great training platform for us to improve our understanding of what we do. Mosaic are clearly dedicated to providing the best quality care and experience to the young people we care for and as a foster carer I feel valued and listened too.Ed Johnson

Myself and my husband first joined FCA back in December 2022 after thinking for many years about going into fostering. Our daughter has now gone to University so we took the leap and went with FCA following a recommendation from a friend who joined them a couple of years ago and spoke highly of the agency. We went through the application process which was very intense, far more intense than we ever expected in all honesty but on reflection, understandable given the responsibilities we were hoping to take on. Karen our assessor still checks in on us now to see how we are doing. We went to Panel in May 2023 and got approved by Mel soon after. Within a few days we were approached by FCA to see if we would take 2 sisters on for a short respite stay and whilst we were nervous we wanted to jump straight in. They were lovely girls and we really enjoyed having them stay. We soon had a few more respite placements, again all with some amazing children and were then asked if we would consider taking 3 Roma Gypsy siblings on a long term basis. Our initial thoughts were could we manage 3 children but we agreed to take them on respite for a week to see if this was something we could consider and if the children would like us too. FCA are very thoughtful about the matching process I feel as they don't want placements to break down. Well after this week we fell in love with the children and definitely wanted them to come to us long term so FCA made the arrangements and in September they came to us. They have changed our lives. Don't get me wrong there are days when its challenging and hard work and we're exhausted at the end of the day but wow what an amazing time we are also having. Its so rewarding and special and at the moment we are working hard with their schools to try and make improvements for them as they have only been in education for about a year and learning the language so things are difficult for them, so we want to help make a difference where we can. FCA also offer lots of help and support and we can call on Sharon our Supervising Social Worker in the Doncaster team anytime for advice. We see that Mel and her team are all so heavily invested in making a difference and they really care about the children. We have just recently attended their Oscars event which the Participation team organised and it was wonderful and they arrange so many events throughout the year and support sessions which is really great. We feel very lucky to now have these children in our lives and will work really hard to give them as many opportunities as we can. We highly recommend this agency to anyone considering fostering as it has truly changed our lives for the better!

Nexus are such a friendly, supportive, forward thinking and professional agency. Carers and young people are always listened to sensitively. Support is available 24/7 from staff but there’s also great support from fellow Carers. Placements are always well matched.I would recommend fostering with Nexus, without reservation

Mick you put your review on with the intention of a reaction. You get one then complain. I won't comment on you personally as this isn't the place I'd tell you directly. But I think you have let your co workers down by posting like this.Whats the company policy on you making public statements in any form. Because reading my missusus handbook its not permitted. Unless you were made the CEO since she left or the CEO authorised it both of which I doubt. If I'd commented like this publicly like you when I was in the military I'd of been on a charge. Have you heard the military saying loose lips sink ships?!!!!!!Sarah Street is spot on by the way as is concerned person. Mandy Britton puts kisses on a review how unprofessional do you need to be to do that!!!!!I don't think you playing games on Google review is the smartest thing by you or the other staff who are doing it. Your all bringing the company into disrepute. This could backfire on you all if your not careful. People have been sacked for less. What if next time a situation occurs where you disagree with management they want to get rid they could use this to fire you you should of stood you ground when it started not be a victim of it all. I was surprised I expected better of you. What if a potential client reads the petty games your playing or social worker or a potential funder. You think Joe public take heed of reviews from obvious staff members? You state you don't want to leave Caritas but if you ever go for a new job what will a potential employer think of playing out staff differences like teenagers on the world wide web!Not that it matters too much as a friend of mine was out last year with his wife and friends and a Caritas group were out too. As they were chatting shop it didn't take long for him to figure out where they worked which team and a quick check on social media and he knew who they all were and who they were chatting about. They didn't even realise others could hear them discussing confidential stuff. So better for all if you stop the on line games remember you represent Caritas when out and about and remember you could be sat near to a relative of one of the clients or a social worker who would report you
