Meadowview Cottages
We had the best time here! Lovely welcome with fresh farm eggs :) Judith was unbelievably helpful (even buying a bed guard for our toddler) and was always around to fix any issues. The children loved feeding the chickens and playing in the backyard. Lark Rise is easily big enough for 6 people (and we had a big 4th of July party here too!) Thank you again for an awesome stay, we'll definitely be back!

Gateway Holiday Cottages
A fabulous cottage with amazing views of Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and the farm limousin cattle. Very warm, cosy and clean with outstanding attention to detail and well equipped with everything we needed. The complimentary extras were a lovely surprise and enjoyed by all.Our children loved the garden to run around in and saying ‘good morning’ and ‘goodnight’ to the moo cows across the drive.A good selection of books, DVDs, information leaflets and children’s toys/games were supplied as well as toiletries. Nothing was too much for Wendy and she was really helpful when I was asking lots of questions before our stay, especially because of the Covid-19 situation.I travelled with my partner and 2 children aged 2yrs and 5yrs and it was a perfect base with easy access to places of interest such as Blair Drummond Zoo, the Falkirk Wheel, Edinburgh Castle, the bridges at South Queensferry and Linlithgow Castle to mention just a few of the places we visited. Morrisons and Greene King pub at the end of the road too, across the roundabout.Even though Covid-19 restrictions were still in place we felt really comfortable and sanitisers, spray, wipes and masks were provided as well as plastic sleeves for the remote controls and a box to isolate any books, games or DVDs we’d touched/used.Thank you also Wendy and Ian for our guided tour of your working farm and allowing the children to sit in some of the machinery - they loved it.

Woodlands Manor Farm
Beautiful weekend away with friends, stayed in Rose Cottage which was plenty big enough for our group of 7.Facilities are great, really enjoyed using the pool which is kept at a lovely temp. Games room was good and the feeding the animals tour topped off my stay.Would love to return with my gf at some stage.

Caithness View Luxury Farm Lodges and BBQ Huts
Best pods I’ve ever stayed in, very modern and clean. Selection of games and well stocked with good amenities. More spacious than you’d think. BBQ hut well equipped with all the utensils you could need. Information booklet provided very helpful. We will be returning and would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area particularly on NC500

The T Barn - Off-grid cabins, glamping & camping
A beautiful, well thought out, quiet, friendly off-grid campsite. Amazing water pressure, fabulous showers and really well done compost toilets. Lots of space, flat, easy ground for pegs, and still catches a bit of sun in the evening despite being in a valley. The firepit areas provided are great and there was no shortage of logs available for purchase. There are also a couple of large shelters with big tables in, in case you need shelter from the rain/sun and these were brilliant in the breakfast-time rain shower we had last weekend. There's a nice pub in walking distance, a fantastic organic farm shop just down the road and the Cotswold water park for paddleboarding, kayaking etc a short drive away. Communication with the owners was easy fast and helpful. I think we'll be back!

The T Barn - Off-grid cabins, glamping & camping
What a gem! - One of the best campsites we have ever been to!Can quite honestly say one of the best campsites we have ever been to.Totally off grid in the middle of the country with no signal. Self check in which allows you to arrive as late as you need to. A really well thought out site with everything you need. There is an information board when you come in including everything you need to know including directions to the nearest town, maps of walks, safety and general info, contact numbers, instructions etc.Large pitches were are casually organised and that you are able to choose. A small fire area with each pitch if you want to create a fire. An area to the back of the site which had three glamping tents. Lovely to see the cows crossing on the hill next to the campsite which you could also walk up if you wanted to. We also happened to go on a day where the RAF base that was near was very active so we saw lots of old planes fly over us - Really beautiful sites! We did take a visit to the near village Barnsley and went to the pub there. Really nice local pub with a lovely outdoor seating area. Calm and chilled atmosphere with some good music, would recommend! The nearest town that is larger Cirencester was nice to walk around, plenty of shops and lovely local pubs and food. If you need to buy food or anything Cirencester is easy to get to.The site had an honesty box where you could buy firewood, lights and kindlings. There was a drinking water tap by this as well. The amount of facilities for the size of the site was amazing. 4 composting toilets as well as 4 electric showers. No exaggeration when I say these were the BEST showers I have ever been in on a campsite. Such good water pressure and temperature - They were also free! There was also a good sized washing up area/kitchen area. They also had a undercover picnic area which anyone on the site could use - A really nice idea so people can socialise or sit and relax. Very clean facilities and managed well. For anyone that has a converted van please note this site did allow our van which currently looks more like a builders van than a campervan from the outside. We are halfway converting this and you can only tell from the inside that it is a campervan. Great to be allowed onto this site and that the owner supported our van! - We did meet the owner Eloise on the last day and she was lovely!Quiet and relaxed site, great facilities, lots of space, very rural and in a great area!

Ireland Farm Cottages
Quiet and quaint in the English countryside. The one downside is the way to get here is up a single lane which can be problematic if there's oncoming traffic. But it's very beautiful, quiet, and lovely. It's only a couple miles from the beautiful small English town of Henley-in-Arden. Many beautiful sidewalk cafes in that town.
