Recently attended the summer party, well wot can I say, it was amazing, catered for children aswell as adults, all staff worked so hard, music acts were fantastic, such a good atmosphere.

When I initially tried to change the time of appointment I was met with someone who has no phone manners. As far as actual hair cut goes, I won't go back. Girl who washed my hair was not friendly and I found the whole experience unprofessional. Stylist was honest in saying that she wasnt confident in using the clippers, and overall they were discouraging the style I wanted. I understand my hair is short and probably was awkward to work with but I left feeling very disappointed and my hair cut hasn't done much for my already low self esteem.

Great venue for the family. Me and my daughter have been training together here for 18 months, even online over lockdown. Ian is committed to the training, it's good exercise and great for discipline. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a Tacky, Pretentious Derelict place to take your kids the Lighthouse Spa and Social Hub is ideal for you. Just look at the Facebook engagement and you will see it’s that it’s simply not where you would want to go on your own never mind with the family. Food is cheap, parties are not value for money.

McKinstry Family Karate is great for the whole family. It is a perfect Martial Arts School for the whole family to train together. I would highly recommend the school to anyone and I am so glad that I can learn alongside my children in a brilliant dojang with an amazing teacher.

I have been training under Master Blinston for around 3 months and can highly recommend Lynx. Being in my late forties, not having ever done organised training before (nevermind a martial art), overweight and with a bad back and various other injuries, I was leaping into the unknown. But I have already lost weight, gained flexibility and overall improved my lifestyle as a result of the training. The classes are enjoyable and the students of all ages are welcoming and supportive in helping each other improve. I look forward to continuing my martial art training at the academy!

It is done in a very relaxed manner yet still incorporates all the traditions one would expect from a professionally run academy. Master Blinstion is an exceptional instructor and is able to convey all his knowledge to all age groups and abilities. If you are thinking of joining a martial club or not sure where to start, please look no further as this is the only place to go. Once you step inside the club and see how it operates you will realise why it is 5***** and why you would go anywhere else.

My family and I have been training at McKinstry Family Karate since Mar 17; it has always been an excellent place to learn Martial Arts and train, but the work that has gone into it over the past year has made it truly outstanding.I highly recommend the Dojang to anyone aspiring to learn Martial Arts, or just improve their fitness. Instruction is provided in a friendly and professional manner, aimed at building confidence, knowledge and friendship- as well as the fine points of the Art itself.

Wow what an amazing day for the people of Dovercourt the summer spectacular was just that !! Great entertainment great food plenty of staff for a busy day a fun packed day with great local artists showcasing their talents. Best afternoon in ages and something for the whole family well done to allThe staff and management on such a well planned activity we will be back for more over the year ❤️❤️
