Eritrean restaurant

Went to this Brixron gem with a group of 13. Luckily the food was great although I was expecting more spice.The restaurant staff are really welcoming. They explained the menu and how dishes are preparedI ordered the veg and meat platter. It was a nice mix of tapas sized dishes served on traditional pancake style bread for dipping (Injera). It was delicious. The portion was huge! The spiced tea was similar to chai and was perfect to warm us up on the cold day. We stayed for hours! It was great. Would definitely go again.

Lovely Authentic food. We had a massive portion between 3 of us and were able to bond after a long time over a traditional palate. Coffee was amazing and popcorn was served too - bit random, but I wasnt complaining.

An absolute pleasure. Amazing food, cheap prices and lovely waiter. Big portions. Can recommend the vegan sharing dish, was so so good.

Very tasty! Seemed like it was cooked fresh to order, it took 30-40 min to arrive after ordering but was well worth the wait!Absolutely delicious. We had the platter (meant for 3 to 5 people) between 2 of us as we wanted to try a few dishes, everything was great. There was a little leftover so would easily have fed 3 or 4 people, and at £52 for the whole platter is great value anywhere but especially so in London.I've had Ethiopian food many times, in various places around the world, and this is up there with the best I've had. Wouldn't hesitate to come back, or recommend to anyone.

What an incredible first experience! My partner and I were blown away by the quality and the flavour of the dishes. They felt home made and along with the stunning decor, it made a wonderful fusion. Hisham ensured the warmth of the place until the very end. I definitely recommend it and we will be there again very soon!The food is very generous and the combo platter is over the top for 2 people. Restaurant deco and atmosphere was very good but the food was disgusting. It was not freshly made and tests out of date and off. It poses a high risk of food poisoning. We could not see the actual sauces that we ordered as it was overwhelmed by excessive salads, covered on top of it. They need to improve on the food quality before it seriously affect the health of customers.
