Phoned at 6.02pm to discuss reducing payment plan to be told that THAT department was closed. Recent letterhead clearly states that phone lines are open 8am - 8pm but obviously only if you want to pay them !!! Nil point SSE, need to get better at customer service!!

Excellent service and a high-performance domestic solar and battery setup.I was happy to talk through the possibilities and note site details in person. Follow-up questions were answered thoroughly. The installation was carried out quickly and by a really great team who were communicative and very professional. It is a very very expensive heating and hot water supplier. They charge £1 every day without using it. I don’t even want to think about the bill in winter time. And on the other side the customer service is very poor. I have talked to 2-3 different people when I set up my account and all of them said something different for the same question. It was a very frustrating situation. I wish I have options, I wouldn’t even think one minute , I would just leave this provider if there was a small possibility.

I am very pleased with Hour Energy. My new gas and electricity contracts have No standing charges and I have better rate than before.I only pay for what I use now.
