Dominican restaurant

I’ve recently moved to the area and stumbled across this absolute gem of a place serving Dominican food. The staff, especially Mike, are incredibly kind and attentive. As someone who has never tried Dominican cuisine before, he was so helpful in describing each dish and after trying his recommendations I can confidently say that I am now a convert. This place has won me over with its warm hospitality and fantastic food.The portions are generous, and the flavours are incredible. The empanadas were a standout for me, freshly made to order, perfectly crispy on the outside and bursting with fillings. The fresh juices are also a must!I'm already looking forward to my next visit, especially to try out their Sunday menu. Highly recommend!

Great experience, authentic Dominican Food. Reminded me of back home. Owner was extremely nice and offered a piece of cake and shots on the house.Food was amazing, and quantities were very generous. Scrolling through the Deliveroo app and I couldn't believe my luck when I came across this restaurant. I'd wanted to try Dominican food for a while and was over the moon to see there was one in Croydon.As this was my first time trying this cuisine, I called in and asked for some advice before placing my order. The customer service was amazing. Mike was so kind and welcoming.I ordered habichuela roja guisada, tostones, moro d guandule and a coleslaw salad.As a vegetarian I was extremely pleased with my food.This may be one of the nicest meals I've ever had. Would recommend 100%.Thank you!!!

If you've never tasted Dominican food this is the way to go. Her food is exquisite and the customer service is out of this world. Me and my friend have tried a lot of restaurants but we just keep coming back to BocaChica. Her food just makes you feel at home and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for amazing Latin American food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the new location of Casa Mofongo Bar Restaurant in Brixton area and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that was adorned with beautiful Caribbean decorations, instantly transporting me to the tropics.The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. Our waitresses Marinel and Naomi were especially delightful and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied throughout our entire dining experience.But the star of the show was undoubtedly the food. The menu offered a wide variety of traditional Dominican dishes, and everything we ordered was simply delicious. From the tender and flavorful chicken to the perfectly seasoned rice and beans, every bite was a delight.The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. The restaurant also had a great selection of drinks, including some amazing Caribbean cocktails like Morir Soñando that were the perfect accompaniment to our meal.Overall, I had an amazing experience at Casa Mofongo. The new location is spacious and comfortable, the decoration is stunning, the food is outstanding, and the staff is friendly and attentive. If you're looking for an authentic taste of the Caribbean and a great dining experience, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Good food, huge portions, excellent service.

Bocachica catered my friend's Halloween party and let me tell you! It was extremely hard all of us controlling ourselves knowing that everybody was supposed to have some. Smelt divine, looked amazing and just remembering the taste has me salivating!! Honestly 10/10, unbeatable Dominican Foooood❤️
