Poor treatment of animals. Poor living conditions for the dogs.

Just used Dogmore having avoided kennels for as long as possible and am pleased to report a very positive impression of them. Left feeling reassured by the people there and returned to find dogs in good moods. Will definitely use them again and recommend.

An amazing experience from start to finish. John and Mary were great hosts and you can tell they absolutely love their huskies. Each has its own personality and during and after the run they love to be fussed. My partner and I each had our own turn both with 8 different dogs. Mary gave us our own over trousers and top, helmets and goggles. Used a quad bike with no engine. You sit on the back whilst Mary controls and verbally rewards the dogs during the run. Stunningly beautiful countryside and woods with tracks throughout which Mary guided the dogs around. Saw dear including stags and a buzzard literally sat on a fence post. Three miles in the dogs stop for water which John sees to. John also stays with the person not out on the run and transports you around to various points where you can photograph or video the dogs going by with your partner. At the end you get to fuss these glorious animals. Can't recommend this enough. Get yourself booked in for an experience you won't forget. Great hosts and equally great dogs. Treat yourself! Thank you Mary and John and the four legged stars. Amazing.

Excellent session with Nir today. A common sense and most importantly easy to follow and productive way to train a dog. Now the hard work begins. Thanks again.

copied from Facebook....elp find Toby*IMPORTANT PLEASE READ & SHARE!DO NOT USE 'BARK n FLY' - previously known as DOGMORE in Kirkliston! We don't want any more dogs to suffer and get hurt at these boarding kennels and day care centre. My name is Jayde and I don’t have a Facebook account , I am using Lauren’s account as I feel social media is the only option left .Inside information, I witnessed this and I am outing them. The conditions are filthy - floor constantly wet and soiled, staff have no training, and despite the website saying these kennels are heated, they are in fact not! On Friday the 13th (last Friday) a dog was almost killed. It was run over by the company van at 1.25pm by a member of staff, the receptionist came up the stairs to let the licensed owner of the business know that a dog had been run over . The owner was filling in a dip in the floor with cement at the time and casually carried on and asked is it dead or alive ?" To which the girl replied "alive but bleeding

I had heard good things about this place, however, the place has changed owners in the meantime. Bit of a cowboy approach. Staff stressed and totally overworked. Within 30 seconds of me explaining that one of my dogs is reactive, they let another client's dog run loose into the same room. If I hadn't been there myself at that point, that could have been catastrophic. Not able nor willing to take on board special requirements. You don't need to book, so I guess it's available as an emergency option. But I would recommend checking available in other nearby places first.

Great day out with Mary and the coos for myself and my plus one who could not stop smiling. Nice tour around the farm and Mary was very friendly and welcoming and clearly knows and loves all of her coos (even the very naughty ones) on a very individiual basis.Mary also very kindly took and sent photos of the both of us whilst we groomed the coos together

I booked this as a surprise for my partner, a little unsure what to expect. Mary was fantastic and so helpful and informative and worked around our tight schedule. If you are weighing up doing this, stop and just book. The huskies are amazing and so affectionate which completely took us by surprise, we expected them to be aloof and unfriendly. These dogs are loved and well cared for by Mary, John and their family who truly understand their need for exercise and attention. John is a World Champion and his and Mary’s life evolves around these truly remarkable dogs.My partner loved every minute of the exhilarating ride and I was able to participate by getting so close to them whizzing by and meeting them at the half way rest period. The 10 lucky dogs selected out of the 40 odd available were so ecstatic to be the chosen few and did not disappoint, delivering an adrenaline fueled ride around the gorgeous property. Matt saw wild deer along the way and even got to command the team under Mary’s supervision.Loads of opportunities to take photo’s and videos means this was an experience neither of us will forget. Ask to meet Bear, a wonderful dog who has aired many of the pack and enjoys being made a fuss of!Thanks so much, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and the gorgeous dogs and hearing about the history and hope to return again. A really special experience which really is so remarkable and unique!
