Contemporary Louisiana restaurant

After reading so many great reviews we were excited. It was for my brother in laws 30th bday. Unfortunately service was quite poor and it wasn't extremely busy to say that is a reason. We felt there was lot of miscommunication and not always understanding what we were asking. Considering we are Sri lankan, did not think that was a problem as so many British people clearly attend there. Just to order our food took quite long and even longer to get the food. The food we ordered was nice but we did ask for them to make it spicier and it just didn't happen. Overall I just don't understand how we had such a different experience to all the other amazing reviews on here, but I wouldn't say this is the place to go to if you want indian food

Great food first class really enjoyed visiting here with a colleague for lunch. Would recommend to anyone wanting to eat some good bengali cuisine. With desserts.

Amazing Indian restaurant in the heart of Old Street, London. The lamb chops were to die for! Marinated really delicious and the chicken tikka were good too. Not much colouring added which was good. The naans were really fluffy and delicious!! Although the onion bhajis were not fried perfection, the pistachio kulfi didn’t have much the flavour I expected. Overall still a good restaurant.

Amazing service. The restaurant was beautiful. Food was very nice and flavourful. The service was amazing and they checked on us multiple times thank you so much for the great hospitality and food. We will definitely be back.

We had absolutely an amazing evening out. The service to food everything was 10/10.Never would I think to drive past this place for years and never go in, and I am so glad I went with my partner. This place was recommended by a dear sis! I I am so glad we went. The service was above and beyond. I felt like a princess. They also accommodated me with a prayer place. Anyone who would like fine Indian food with flavour and great service with presentation, this is the place! Top waiters, very polite and attentive, Mr. Amin and his team were brilliant.

Went in for lunch. Waiter was not willing to provide high chair for the child which was odd despite calling in the night before to ensure one is available. They gave it after the fuss. Also being awkward about where to keep the prams as if the resturant was going to be very busy. Venue was empty.Food order took long to arrive. Approx 40 minutes. 1 item on the item was taken incorrectly but they compensated for it.Food (veg) was average. Had ordered the paneer tikka, bhindi burry, naan, veg platter and mushroom rice.

Good service. I tried the lamb curry and it is mildly spicy with good balance of flavor. In contrast to usual stomach uncomfortable moments after having kicking cuisines, this one was very all right as a normal meal for a normal day. The garlic naan is also good.I would come back.

It’s a fancy restaurant and the food was nice, however the service was rly bad, the waiter seems like to hate women, I didn’t feel comfortable eating there as the waiter just ignored me the entire time, he came to our table, talked to my bf and ignored me , he asked my bf how the food was but didn’t even bother to say a word to me when I said “food is amazing” “may I get the check” “thank u sir” to him? This is ridiculous, if u hate women this much maybe you should try &work in a different industry where u don’t see any women. And the food wasn’t spicy AT ALL even we ordered the extra hot one.
