I enjoyed our visit to this store so cool and bought a few things..

If I could give zero stars I would. When I first walked into the shop, it seemed that no one was there, until i heard a voice from a person crouched behind the counter, “what are you here for?”A little surprised by the strange greeting, i ask if you he sold retro console games. The reply i got was simply, “yes”. So i kindly asked if I could see…so, as this person showed me, he said, “do not touch anything, if you want to see something, ask first, i am the only one that touches anything, until one pays,”., at that point i immediately needed to exit the shop. I made an excuse to leave immediately. Not only was it very unpleasant behaviour by whoever this individual was, i am so surprised he is in business.l will stick to buying on ebay. i will shame his business to people i know.

Brilliant selection of stamps on their approval service. They managed to find me a brilliant selection of stamps.

Great selection of games and super lovely staff - they gave me some fantastic recommendations for 2-player board games that also work for larger groups. Thanks so much for your help and kindness :)

Five stars for Forbidden Planet on Shaftesbury Avenue! A geek's paradise with an astounding selection of sci-fi, fantasy, and pop culture treasures. From rare comics to unique collectibles, the range is unbeatable. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to help. An absolute must-visit for enthusiasts.

Excellent shop with plenty of choice. Have alot of cool merchandise - comics, anime , Pokémon, toys, pop vinyls etc that you can't buy anywhere else, and the shop is deceptively big - has a big floor downstairs as well. Well worth a look.

Helpful and enthusiastic staff run a cosy shop with some collectable items and games, as well as a large selection of individual cards. Fully recommended for those looking to buy and play Magic: The Gathering!

This shop is a treasure trove of delights and discoveries.I've visited several times and would go there more if I could.The wealth of material, of postcards and photos, are fascinating and help bring alive the history of the area in a tangible way.I can see the streets I walked and places I knew, in times past. Cinemas, shops, pubs, the piers, restaurants and cafes, the seaside and beaches and the villages and towns and countryside. Many places that are gone or changed significantly.I can recapture scenes that no longer exist. Memories are brought back, triggered by the images.I can See where ancestors and others lived, worked, played and more. How people dressed and the changes in fashion.. The differences in social classes. The transport of the times, often ones I want aware of. Faces from the past, even one or two of relatives or people I had seen, on stage or screen.I can see life that was very different to now. I can get insights into the lives of others and remember times in my own life too.The owner, Rob is very helpful and knowledgeable. He's helped me several times with research into my family and the area. If he doesn't know something about the local area, he very likely knows someone who does.He has far more than just local items too. He has postcards and images of places near and far and on a myriad of subjects and times.The shop is aptly named and I will gladly step back in time again.

Amazing shop to visit, has everything you could want.I went for G1 Transformers and was amazed at what they had and also the quality of them. Reasonable prices as well.The people in the shop are great and very knowledgeable.

Love this computer shop. The owner is very knowledgeable when it comes to new and retro software and hardware. There are loads of video games in stock and always has some quality retro gaming systems.5 stars.
