City government office

I tried to get through to them for hours,I work 8:30am to 4:30pm,The councils opening hours are 08:30am to 5:30pm.Throughout the day when I called, I got greeted with the message the queue is full and the system hung up on me,Despite being in work I tried to contact them at 4 onwards hanging up and trying to get through multiple times because of this issue. Eventually at approx 4.18 i got into the queue...Roll on 1 hour 15 minutes later give or take, the council decided rather than dealing with the queue of callers, to hang up the line because its home time.What the actual (insert swear word) am I to do?I'm not calling them for a laugh, I geniunely need to speak to somebody.This is beyond pathetic

Absolutely shocking how your request is ignored by the receptionist and we pay the tax payer money for the help that we don’t receive by the council

They usually are a pathetic excuse for council workers. Especially the Council tax office employees: highly incompetent, bullish and lazy. I had the displeasure of getting to know them when they summoned to court by mistake, they drove me crazy only to say sorry" in the end. Now they tried again for a few delays in paying the council tax (which I always paid).There is a reason why they have so many bad reviews. It's time that you take a good look at yourself and stop wasting our money.I hope you get a workforce restructuring."

Beyond incompetent. Bills are wrong. They never answer the phone. You have to chase them to correct the charges and then chase them to pay them. They are an expense on society. Please cut cost and defund the council.

This place is a joke they dont bother helping family's to get their own place I've been trying since 2013 to get my own place and I'm still living with my mum and my 3 kids there's 7 of us in one house lazy service to help family's out they should be doing more to help family's get a home.

Due to massive habitat loss, almost half of all bird species are in decline. Putting people first and nature last really must stop. We need to share our gardens with wildlife as they're running out of their own natural habitat. Banning an elderly couple from bird feeding sets a dangerous precedent.Hopefully the council can use common sense and reach a middle ground to allow the couple to continue feeding the birds.

This is a massive thank you from people living at BD37FL. You know them ... Those guys paying 130£/month to have their waste ( garden and general waste ) collected ONCEA MONTH.What a disgrace.

Bin men never empted my bins phoned up ask if they will be done for xmas as that is the bins i need as the black bin is to small nope they will not be done for xmas terrible 5 working days terrible service I hate phoning West Lothian and they gave me two bins I never asked for I had to phone because that means I would have 4 blue bins and they picked them up 2 months after me phong
