Car rental company

Great experience. The car provided was above expectations and the client service was top-notch. Big shout out to Josh (hopefully I remembered his name correctly). He was a new member of staff and was really excellent when we returned the car to Oswald Street on 4 September 23.

Absolutely fantastic service from all 3 gentlemen that I have dealt with at this establishment. I used to use avis but they no longer exist in Lancaster and then after several bad experiences with europcar in Morecambe I used hertz lancaster and ill never go to anyone else. These guys have brilliant customer service skills and always go the extra mile where possible. Keep up the good work guys !

The worst van rental branch ever worked with. They promised me that my booking is going to be honoured until late in the evening when the only thing that they could say was sorry but we don't have a van for you". That was costly for me and my business.I would recommend to stay away from them and use other companies.Unfortunately I am forced to select 1 star but they would deserve 0."

I have already rented several times from other branches of Enterprise, but this one I do not recommend.Car not very clean, low fuel level, service brakes signal…I booked an automatic and they gave me a manual transmission.They gave me the excuse that I had a foreign phone number which prevented them from calling me.They could have contacted me by email! suggests that I wait a few hours later if by chance an automatic vehicle becomes free in another branch, but without certainty!No response to my email for my automatic/manual vehicle price difference refund request. Just received an automatic notification for the refund of the Potential Additional charges > Disastrous customer care. After 2 weeks I'm still waiting for their apologies… They told : « We will refund the difference… » >> nothing!!!After 6 weeks, I'm patient but don't laugh at me!! I'm still waiting for my refund for the difference in the vehicle's gearbox and a commercial gesture! I'm not renting from Enterprise again until I get my money back, last week I had to rent a truck, I had two companies and a choice of which was Enterprise, of course I chose the other…

I was given a car with a puncture, called a liar by staff who constantly referred to there being ‘a nail in the tyre’ despite me never saying this. Complained and area manager resolved with ‘special code’ which I gave to tyre replacement company so I didn’t get charged. Now got email asking for over £300. Total crooks. Tyre was bald when collected an no nail in tyre when replaced.

My wife who’s a driving instructors hired the car for a week on very short notice. The service was exceptional and the whole process was really straightforward. The price was great and the car was sound. Will defo recommend for anyone that needs a car in an emergency. Keep up the great work!

NARMAAN at Preston was so helpful. He was very clear, precise, and helped us find the best car for our trip to Wales. We had to go to three different dealerships to find one that took drivers under 25. This place was so refreshing after so much trouble the whole day. Worth the drive out of Liverpool. Thanks Narmaan, you are the best CARMAN!

Nice little local garage. My car broke down, was recovered by the AA and taken here. They were quite helpful, however they said they couldn't fix my car and it would need to go to a main agent dealer. They recommended someone they knew called Sam Recovery to me to get my car recovered to the main agent dealer. I had no idea how bad the situation in the car industry is right now with regards to spare parts due to the war in Ukraine and not being able to use Russian stuff. The earliest appointment I could get was in 4-5 weeks time. I booked with Sam Recovery, we made an appointment, they assured me they'd get my car to the appointment at the dealer on time. The appointment was missed, every time I called they made excuses telling me they'd be there but it got later and later until it was too late. I asked the main agent dealer when the next available appointment would be and they said 5-6 weeks time. Nightmare!

Hired a car for a weekend trip. Everything ran smoothly and they were a pleasure to deal with.
