Brewing

As far as Wine Making and brew shops go I have to rate this as one of the best. It is well stocked with a wide range of beer kits, or for the more adventurous every thing you need to concock your own unique brew. There is an equal measure of wine making equipment with just about everything you need from wine press to a simple demijohn so, wether your an absolute novice or connoisseur he seems to have it. Colin, the Proprietor, is well versed in his trade and will happily spend as much time with you to ensure you are well placed for a successful brew. The shop is an Aladdins cave for brewers. I'm returning to homebrew after decades of paying through the nose for craft beers so thought I'd brew my own. The owner was really knowledgeable and helpful guiding me through the minefield of necessary equipment and beers. There is certainly more choice of beer than there used to be. Thank you.

***Please read***Ever since the owner opened up his first sote on the traffic lights , me and my family were loyal customers. We were the first people to hire a press from him. We have spent numerous visits talking to the owner. We have supported him as a our local buisness, even when we could find better prices elsewhere.In the last few years we have bought large amounts of bottles amongst other sizable purchases. With the good relationship we had built up, the owner had also agreed that he would sell some of our cider along with the other local brewers (and his own product). Anyway....Last year year we requested clear bottles, on the promise that we would be buying 150+ a year. Unfortunatly he declined, due to lack of demand (fine). We advised him that we would still like to buy some bottles, and said we would possible buy 50. After a long think, we with heavy hearts advised the owner over the phone that we would have to go elsewhere as we wanted the clear bottles, fine, no problem.This year I walked into the store, got my normal friendly hello, and proceded to pick out the items for the years brewing. Half way round the store, the owner, from behind the counter, suddenly said I dont meam to be funny but.. i'm not going to serve you today." Me thinking he was joking smiled

I've been using faversham home brew for around a decade.they stock everything you would need to make wine or beer very nice people to deal with.i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of help and equipment.

Great selection of ingredients combined with helpful and knowledgeable staff make this easily the best homebrew shop in Kent. So much better than buying from a faceless online company.

Do ignore the idiot who is posting false reviews. Colin is brilliant, as is his shop. He never lets me down. His advice has been invaluable over the last four or five years as I have got into brewing, first with kits and now all-grain.

This place truly has all you could want for home-brewing. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly, so it's a great shame that it will be closing this month.

I have shoped at Faversham Homebrew for several years. Their stock of equipment and supplies for winemaking, home brewing and cider making is extremely comprehensive. I am always surprised at the choice available whenever I visit. This, coupled with the chearful, knowledgable and helpful staff makes every visit a delight.

Definitely ignore those false reviews! Colin is very helpful and I have always had an awesome service from him. Amazing range of hops and malts, good quality all-grain equipment too. Everything for wine, beer and cider makers! Staff are very knowledgeable and lots of great stock. Can also trial some kits before buying.

I visited the shop today and was given some excellent advice on what to use to bottle elder flower champagne. Great service - will recommend to friends.
