Unique divine experience to see all faithful gathering for this pilgrimage in a long procession, reciting rosary and hymns, different communities, different cultures. Felt truly blessed and fortunate to be a part of this celebration

Chris lowered the posts so that we could park closer to the Basilica and walk with the wheelchair. The Basilica is beautiful and visitors have the option to go to mass and confession. Or you can sit in the cool, quiet space and pray. Candles can be lighted in here. Cash or card payments are accepted.Shop on site has a superb range of products and excellent customer service. The tea room is well stocked. Hot and cold snacks and sandwiches are made to order. Special dietary needs can be catered for. I had a hot hollumi and roasted pepper toasted gluten free sandwich with salad. It was delicious. The Slipper Chapel is beautiful and has space for intentions and quiet prayer. There is space to light your candles and see relics of several saints.

I can't believe it's a shrine, they keep it very simple when I compared to other shrines I visited in India. Must visit. The church is located in a serene village backdrop.
