Dudley Archives and Local History Centre
Spacious and modern archive and worth a visit. I wish the staff were singing from the same hymn sheet. One rather brusque lady told me that digital photos were 5 pounds EACH! But a guy at the desk told me it was only a one time 5 pound fee. Other than this the staff are wonferfully friendly and helpful.

Alchemy Vintage And Arts
A true vintage shop, with unique items. Not like a lot of generic or over the top vintage shops that are the norm on the high streets. Ian stocks a lot of military and work wear, much of it in great condition and all of high quality. Ian is very friendly and knows the story behind every piece of clothing in his shop.Definitely worth a visit even if you just want a tour through the wears.

Very helpful and friendly staff that even stayed late so I could unload when I got stuck in traffic on a long drive down from Hampshire on a Friday. Ian went over and above the call of duty and I am very grateful for that.Many thanks and a lovely location very easy to get to with great access even for a 7.5 tonne truck backing in to the storage unit to unload in the dry.I would not hesitate to use this place for storage.

Cheshire Archives and Local Studies
Fascinating place. So much of the wider area's history tucked away in this old building. The people there are very helpful and they run a few things such as genealogy workshops and school trips, for example. There is free access to membership-only genealogy sites for those looking to research their family tree, as well as, of course, the original documents for half of things you'd be looking up. It's always worth an ask to see what you can find. Very interesting treasure trove of Cheshire's history.

Glasgow Women's Library
Glasgow Women's Library is a warm and welcoming space. The staff and volunteers were endlessly helpful and I could have browsed their excellent collection all day. They had a lovely exhibition in their event space when I visited and the newly renovated building is stunning. A Glasgow gem!
