Animal watering hole

Tad Jones, it is not my view that you shouldn’t use your infant baby’s hand to pet a new forest pony out in the forest it is a law (with a £1,000 fine) and I have no qualms telling people this especially during foaling season and when the stallions were released only 2 days ago. I suggest all visitors to the area visit the visitor centre and inform themselves adequately. It is the horses lives you place in threat, and your baby’s!

Great place set aside for otters in their own pool with features for them to play in a well designed replicated natural environment. Entertaining watching them swim and play right next to the viewing platform with educational information display signs. Very popular spot for families to visit.

Excellent service, tried many other places and no one can handle Lucky, as he doesn't like being groomed. But Swee T Pets had no issue and he looks great afterwards as well as smells fantastic. Thank you Swee T Pets

My fur baby Teddy loves his time with Tammy always cut well.(by hand.) And smells Devine. Never do I worry about him being groomed as she gives 110%. Excellent service xx

Our little Chihuahua had never been to a groomers before so it was a whole new experience. She is always nervous around new people but the lady at Swee T Pets put both us and our dog at ease straight away. A very clean professional set up which was so easy to find. Friendly chatty and really made such a good job tidying up our little lady. Clearly the lady running the business has a real passion for looking after the doggies in her care. If you have any reservations about how your dog will handle going to the groomers then give swee t a try. I dont think I have ever been so amazed at the service offered by any business before. If only you could give more than 5 stars! We will be bringing Milky back again when shes ready for her next pampering session.

Wonderful to see up close

Where to begin… it started with a hangover and morning of regret, followed by a yearning for otters. With a quick google search, we thought we’d found the perfect place to scratch the itch that was otter spotting.After an hour and a half drive, we were within reach of the experience we so needed. With joy, we jumped out of the car and walked up the ramp with a new found spring in our step.At the ticket desk, we were greeted by a delightful employee, George. Not only was George extremely friendly, but very professional. We asked for “two tickets please George”. George obliged and asked if we’d add gift aid. Of course, for the otters, anything. It was at this point our world came crashing down….We proceeded to ask George, “Where abouts are the otters?” Never have we seen a man’s expression change so quickly as he knew the bombshell he was about to bestow upon us. Neither of us were prepared for what came next. George, with his sorry hand on the desk, replied “It died last month!”Our world was rocked. George went on to explain that there were 5 otters but 4 had sadly passed last year, and the final remaining otter was taken from us last month *sad face*. How is one supposed to cope with such news?Feeling like absolute guttersnipes now, we really did try and enjoy our time. However, the wetlands were bleak and we feared we were falling back into a pit of hungover depression.We have given this 3 stars based on the logic that an otter sanctuary with no otters should be 0 stars, but George carried the experience and is rewarded 5 stars, averaging to a mediocre 3.Considering a trip back just for George.

Great local place for Dog Hydrotherapy, they have a dog treadmill and pool and Sophie is really attentive to your dog, washed and dried afterwards and our dog Cara has benefitted massively from regular sessions here helping with weak hips.
