My ancient Mastiff visited today. Needs xrays to rule out the big C. I am in pieces yet the vet was brilliant as were the reception staff. Diagnostic treatment will wipe out my savings yet love my dogsavings..Today 11 11 22 My gorgeous Dog was put down, I was with her as she breathed her last. Staff were brilliant, professional and compassionate. The care that they took of my dog (and myself in grief) was on another level. Very Very grateful. Thank you people.

We took our newly adopted cat to Goddard this weekend for a general health check and had a great experience - Beccy was great with our cat, and was incredibly patient with us and happily answered our endless questions, whilst also giving us great recommendations for food, supplements, etc.We won’t be taking our cat anywhere but Goddard now!

We have been with this vet practice since 2015, mainly seeing the vet Alan van Heerden. We consider this vet and the practice as the very best we have used since we got our first pet in 1992. Alan is the perfect vet, whose knowledge, experience and good judgment lead to excellent diagnoses and treatments. We get very clear explanations with all angles covered. And, he likes to make a good connection with his animal patients and understand their personalities. We highly recommend Blackheath Veterinary Surgery and Alan van Heerden BVSc, MRCVS.

I have been a customer for 30+years I live on a farm paid all my invoices on time. Had to take my dog to have it destroyed he was 15 years old they would not attend a home visit due to my account my dog struggled to get in the back of the van lack of empathy all about money.

Hawksland have literally changed my dogs life. My spaniel has a low grade luxating patella and unable to do any agility due to it. With weekly hydro sessions my dog now is loving be able to do agility again and at the strongest she has ever been.Also the physio has been amazing really looking after my dogs and keeping them in tip top condition. I honestly don't know what I would do without them

This doesn't allow me to award no stars, but avoid like the plague if you value your pets. First and last time of visiting this practice, in 40 years of using vets, never have I experienced such an arrogant and uncaring vet, as the one I experienced here.Wanted to do surgery on my dog, thank god I trusted my gut instinct and sought a second opinion at another vet practice. At this surgery I got another opinion from, they treated me and dog with nothing but kindness and compassion, something Medivets could do with taking a lesson in, with how to treat and talk to your customers.More importantly it transpired my dog DID NOT NEED AN OPERATION, and is right as rain now. It is beyond words that you put money first before animal care. Thank god I was able to find another practice, who put ethics first.
