Barry who sold me my car was professional, friendly and found the best car for me.The videos from Calum and Natalia provided me with detail of the car and Natalia provided a demonstration of all the workings of the car.When I picked my car up I was greeted with Natalia Barry the sales consultant and Paul the general Manager who thanked me for my custom and hoped I enjoyed my new car. UPDATE: I finally began to speak to the branch manager (Paul) who after a short discussion advised that we take the car to the dealer have it all checked over and any work carried out. Although a month later the car is now ready, Arnold clark have paid for a courtesy vehicle throughout this for me which i appreciate. If only these issues had of been solved before hand i would never have had to go through this. but i'm glad they managed to resolve it. Thanks Paul.I purchased a used Jaguar XF I made it very clear to the online rep that I was traveling a far distance and would like an in-depth video outlining any marks on the vehicle. The video sent outlined a few chips and a curbed alloy which I was happy with.Despite an appointment, I waited over 3 hours in the branch to see the car and on arrival, I instantly noticed the gigantic scuff and crack in the rear of the bumper, Neither the sales rep nor prep team had somehow seen it before. This was agreed to be repaired but the fact it was completely missed and never mentioned is abysmal. This has been agreed to be repaired however due to delays i am still yet to have even had an inspection.After buying the car and sitting at lights it was apparent the car should never have left. The exhaust was rattling on idle there was no climate, parking sensors cameras, or radio. Immediately contacted the garage who said they would investigate.However, no less than one day later the car failed to start completely leaving me stranded at work. after countless phone calls to both Arnold Clark Falkirk and the AA, multiple recovery trucks were sent out none of which would collect the car. Finally, after being stuck at work till midnight, one was booked for the following day and Arnold Clark had contacted my nearest branch to let them know. When the tow truck arrived he asked that I contact them too, just to make sure before he loads it. To my surprise when I rang them, Arnold Clark had never contacted them and it was pointless towing it there as they were fully booked till April.In the end, we physically pushed the car round to my nearest garage in the next street from work. what they found was pretty shocking.After a proper diagnostics, it was found to be a faulty earth lead, however fresh hammer marks were found on both the top and underside of the starter motor with fresh metal fillings (Indicating very recent). After benching the starter the garage discovered the solenoid had collapsed and a new starter was also required.The wires to the starter had been split, most likely to probe atthe entire harness was unclipped and a mess.In their defense, this was repaired and I was reimbursed however they tried to blame the previous owner. While I haven't met her I have all paperwork for the car and can see this car has been looked after by the main dealer till it was sold to me totaling thousands so I highly doubt she's taken a hammer to her car to get it started.I am still waiting for the following repairs despite quotes being sent over and countless phone calls and emails CC everyone named in that branch on the website and nothing.The rattle is the catalytic converter having collapsed various nuts bolts and unclipped harnesses around the area indicating another failed repair attempt. an entirely new one is requiredThe rear parking sensors have been given out.start stop has never worked. (charging the battery offers a temporary fix for this)when on the lift for inspection it was noticed one of the tires is badly scrubbed on the inside, however never noted on the mot.What angers me the most about this is that all of this is 100% knowledge to the garage yet they sent this car out anyway with no regard to customer satisfaction. I would have been much happier had they told me the car had issues and the collection must be delayed.I am now opening a case with the finance company to try and get this resolved. This is not a rant about a used car having issues, that happens, what I'm unhappy about is how they are responding to them.

I have just bought my third car from here and it doesn't get any better. Tyre deflation warning light on when I went to drive off, had to go back and get it sorted. Front car mats were missing, salesman didn't seem keen to resolve it, have to buy some myself. This was a car that was less than 2 years old. Maybe they treat customers who buy new cars better.

Took my Jeep Cherokee from Yeovil to Vale Motors for a suspected TPMS fault after a local tyre specialist failed to find the problem. They found the tyres under inflated, did a test drive and all fine.all this for no charge. What excellent customer service!
