Star Tyres

Went to Star Tyres today. I had a screw in my tyre which was removed within 10mins of arrival. Friendly staff. Cost was cheaper than everywhere else. If you like to support small local business then I suggest you use this garage as I will be for all my motoring needs in the future, and will advise to all friends and family local. 10/10

Had my tryres changed took over an hour then to drive away to find they had put tyres to small on my car nearly making to swerve of the road then to take over an hour again for them to recharge them form cost start from £10 to £70 to £105 I will never go back here again

I brought my car to this garage and he preformed diagnosis, he informed me that my turbo had stopped working and that I'd need a need one put in and also a dpf cleaning which he would have done in Birmingham at a professional. Also that the price would be £880 for this to be completed and everything else was fine with the car. I agreed for the work on Friday and he came and collected on Sat morning and he said the work would be completed on Monday afternoon. I called on Monday, not done, on Tuesday, not done and the professional couldn't clean the dpf in brimingham for some reason or another but still he charged me for transport both ways, but now of course he said he could do a 'Clean' in house with chemicals, sounds like a flush to me, and Wednesday the car was fixed,. Il give it to him since he did it in house he took 90 pounds off the total cost bringing it too 790. But considering he did a flush thisis still no good. He refurbished the turbo not changed it big difference. I let him know about him self on my return paid him his money and took my car as fast as I could, but too my surprise other things suddenly started happening to my car a few days later, conisidence I think not, clutch is now making a clunking sound and car is making another loud noise a different one thsi time, I took it back and he diagnosed it and now my car needs a new mount, a new timing belt. Don't go there

Christmas is a time of year where we think of others and do good deeds. These people not knowing me from Adam saved the day for us. My son had been attacked with a knife and treated in hospital. We then had to get to an appointment with the police. My Saab had a puncture, so these amazing people put on the spare and sent us rapidly on our way for no fee.If that isn’t a Christian type act worthy of the best I don't know what is. Fabulous humble people. Give them your business!
