Stopford Cat Rescue

So planning a trip to Manchester to see a friend and on a whim thought I’d try to see if I could pick a kitten up on my trip, the very lovely and polite lady unfortunately declined my request but at the same time was very happy with the response and need to do all the checks and security to keep the cats safe

Had to give up my youngest cat as she was not getting on with my eldest cat and my toddler. Got to a point the vets said it was best to let her move as she was showing symptoms of stress. Stopford cat picked her up and got her checked out in the vets and looked after her untill she found a forever home. From my experiance this charity puts the cats first. I 100% recommened them.

Can't zero rate but would if I could. Offered a loving home to a cat and refused due to the road we lived on. It's on a quiet estate but thats apparently not good enough..but happy to leave poor cats penned up for god knows how long. Very sad for the cats involved.

Rude rude rude. I have just rang to ask if there is any space as I unfortunately have to give up my cat due to my son being severely allergic. The response I got was ‘is she neutered’ i responded ‘no’ This is due to vet clinics in my area not doing neutering unless it is essential. Once i told this woman no she shouted down the phone ‘WHY DO YOU GET THESE ANIMALS’. She then said she would take my details. I told her i’m not giving my details after the way she just spoke to me. I understand rehoming cats at the moment is difficult. However, that is no way to speak to someone who is having to give up a family pet. Disgraceful.

There a great place there so many animal need a home and this is one of them we had 4 rescue cats now we have 1 we have passports for them all but 1 cat is better than none and of every pet

Does a fantastic job helping cats. Always in need of donations and help. I use live online and they donate to them each time I shop

I Would recomend anyone to use this brilliant service ,the volunteers go above and beyond to rescue and rehome cats .theres a good choice and all age ranges to choose from including outdoor cats .the volunteers will give you a quick accomodation check to ensure road safety then its pick your cat or cats .the volunteers couldn't be more helpfull and will drop your cat off spade,wormed, flead,vaccinated then microchip them in their new home for you so you can change there name to anything you want .it's a wonderfull rewarding experience ,so don't think twice just adopt .

Lovely caring people helped my neighbour adopt two beautiful cats were called Bonny and patch, now called Bonnie and Clyde
