King's Norton: St John the Baptist - A Church Near You | Welcome to our church of St John the Baptist in the small Leicestershire village of King's Norton. We are part of the Gaulby Group and the Launde Deanery Minster Community. Our church was built in a Gothic Revival style and dates back to 1760, and is said to be perhaps the most beautiful church in the midlands region and one of the finest parish churches in the whole of the England.

It is truly amazing to drive into a remote, rural village like this and see such an impressive church. Arrive before 9am to listen to the clock followed by a tune on the chiming machine.
