This place is our second home! We are always there, My whole family train, there are so many positives:-- This is a very family friendly gym.- We have the cheapest monthly’s about.- Everybody is welcoming & friendly.- There is a variety of times with the classes & flexibility on times with 1-1’S.- Ste is the main coach & he teaches some of the best jujitsu about, creating many gold medalist within the adults and kids high level competitions.If your thinking of getting involved I would highly recommend Henshalls Brazilian Jujitsu.

Amazing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gym that offers a fantastic range of Gi and No-Gi Classes throughout the week. Lots of time on the mats rolling and detailed tutorials from experienced instructors have made it the perfect place to improve my BJJ.The club’s atmosphere is fun and welcoming and there is a real drive to improve and get better that runs through the club, this comes from Steve Henshall whose BJJ knowledge and personality as an instructor is top drawer.I have been a member for 6 Months now and the classes are the highlight of my week. If you are looking for a BJJ Gym in Manchester I recommend you check this place out.

The head coach Ste is a top class bloke and brilliant teacher. You definitely get your money’s worth and see very quick results. The gym has a good vibe, is clean and everyone is super welcoming, from the experienced to the beginners. If you are thinking of starting, just do it as there is 0 awkwardness and no risk of tying. I would highly recommend and have to friends and family who hopefully will join the community.

Excellent gym, steve is amazing. very knowledgeable, patient and welcoming. straight to rolling unlike other gyms too.My only gripe is that i did the beginners course with people who had experience ranging from 6 months - 2 years.it’s incredibly hard to practice anything you’ve learned when you’re thrown into an arm lock (something we haven’t learned to perform or defend against) almost immediately after beginning to roll

Got into BJJ a year or so ago and really enjoyed the attic as everyone calls itSte is a great coach and everyone at the club is very friendly

One of the best BJJ club in Manchester. Very friendly people with great knowledge and everyone is welcomed. Steve is a top bloke with lots of guidance and advice. I travel 40 minute car journey (one way) to train here 4 times a week and well worth it.

I visit Henshall BJJ semi regularly and every time I do they become some of my favourite training sessions. The ethos and style of Steve and the club are very down to earth, straight forward, and effective. Some very good competitors train here and everyone is friendly. Can't recommend highly enough.

I’ve been training here since April 2022. I started with the beginners course and now I’m totally hooked, training 4 times a week. Head coach Ste is really friendly and knowledgeable and the members are all great too. Love training here!

Top Coach... Top members and its a pleasure to be apart of it. Steven is a dedicated an professional instructor with a great depth of knowledge of Bjj. My daughter has been here for nearly 3 years and myself 2 best decision we made. Every member makes you feel welcome an part of a team training an learning together.
