Timmins Academy - Halesowen | Timmins Academy in Halesowen is a community driven inclusive school for dancers of all backgrounds and abilities. Join us for fun, keeping fit or become a professional dancer, we offer a route through dance for all. Previous students have gained entry into the Royal Ballet, Central School of Ballet, Laine Theatre Arts, Bird College, Urdang, BOA, Performers College, Addict Dance Academy and more.

My daughter loves dancing at Timmins. She has made some lovely friends, is growing in confidence and looks forward to her classes every week. This is a friendly and welcoming dance school which I strongly recommend!

Timmins Academy of Dance - Halesowen
Diploma 3 teaching is an amazing course to expand dance knowledge and to grow in confidence as a teacher. Throughout the course I received more than enough help and support ensuring that I achieved an amazing mark. Highly recommend to any young dancers thinking of learning to teach :)

Timmins Academy of Dance - Halesowen
I cannot recommend Timmins enough. My daughter joined 8 years ago and still loves every second of her lessons. She has had opportunities to try different styles of dance, taking exams and performing in shows - developing skills that will last her a lifetime. There is a very relaxed atmosphere, there is no pressure at all but for those who want to take it further, the extremely experienced teachers are well placed to be able to provide additional support.

A professional inclusive dance school that provides a wide range of different styles of dance.Both of my daughters have danced at Timmins Academy since a young age, they have been given the most amazing opportunities including performing on stage at the crescent theatre, Birmingham and workshops with the industry’s finest performers.The teachers excel in giving support and instilling confidence in their students which is certainly helping my daughters achieve their dreams of a career in dance and musical theatre.The school has a lovely ‘family’ feel about it and I’m sure the friends my daughters have made through Timmins will remain life long friends.

Timmins Academy of Dance - Halesowen
My daughter has been dancing at Timmins for the last 4 years. Since attending she’s grown in confidence which is evident in all aspects of her life but especially during a recent school performance. The teachers are amazing patient, positive and so passionate about their teaching. They have high expectations, which can be seen clearly with the progress all children make. My daughter also attends the gymnastics classes something she found difficult to begin with but with the excellent teaching she has made huge progress in this area and as she says ‘it’s such fun!’ The shows are brilliant and such an exciting experience for all the children to take part in. My daughter has made some lovely friends at Timmins and looks forward to seeing them each week. Thank you to everyone at Timmins!

Timmins Academy of Dance - Halesowen
I was at Timmins for 15 years and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. I learnt so much in my time there and made friends for life. The teachers, especially Jayne, are all friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend everyone, of all ages, going and learning to dance in such a lovely environment. Plus the shows are always incredible!

I would highly recommend Timmins Academy of Dance. My daughter started dancing there 10 years ago and continues to do the majority of their classes. The teaching is of a very high standard and this is perfectly balanced with fun, care and the creation of life long friendships - dancers and their mums!The shows are incredible, once in a lifetime opportunities are offered and memories created that will last a lifetime.

Timmins Academy of Dance - Halesowen
Our daughter has danced with Timmins since she was 3 years old. She has grown in confidence, has a wonderful group of friends and enjoys her lessons every week. Miss Jayne continued throughout lockdown on zoom making lessons fun and engaging. All of the teachers, Miss Olivia, Miss Camilla and Miss Grace have been welcoming, accommodating to all abilities and compassionate in teaching styles. Real family feel when the whole school gets together at shows with the older groups supporting the younger students. Lovely to be a part of and fantastic to see the students progress through the years.
